Wanted a new Ford Edge (dont judge haha) so I read somewhere to get the salesmen out of the dealership. Dont play on their turf so to speak. I emailed a few dealers and got quotes. Whenever they'd want me to come in I'd say that I'm very busy with work and just want the quote. Then I'd fwd them to the other dealers and got one dealer to come down some off sticker. Then I got a folder with the quotes and I put some other blank pages in the folder so it looked like I had lots of other quotes. Went into the dealer and noticed the salesman kept looking at that folder. He was very interested in what other quotes I had. When in reality I only had about three. I got them to come down a little more off sticker. I forget the final number but I was happy with the purchase.

Have you ever had to call 911 for anything?
Toomstone.Part.Duex replied to BillsPride12's topic in Off the Wall
3 times 1. About 1998, driving to work a lady tried to cut across traffic to enter the highway ramp. She got T-boned and flipped her Blazer up on the driver side. 2. Driving home from work and a kid in a Ford Probe who thought it was a Ferrari was driving like an idiot! I kept up just to see him lose it. He did when he tried to take an exit from the passing lane and spun it out into a grassy spot and into a huge bush. 3. Where I rehearse for my band is a room they rent out for parties. There's a bar upstairs and one night the bartender (about 60-65) couldn't get in touch with his girlfriend for a few hours. He was closing up and asked me to drive him up to his house, about 4 blocks. He said she was sick with the flu and was afraid to go in to his apartment. I went in and found her hunched over in the recliner (head at her knees) so I checked for a pulse. She was cold and no pulse. I had to go outside and tell him she was gone. Called 911 and told them. Sad seeing him on his knees in front of her crying. Top it off the cop was a dick to him when he was asking him questions about her health. -
What's your ideal retirement location?
Toomstone.Part.Duex replied to BillsPride12's topic in Off the Wall
I have about 8-9 years till retirement. I'd like to get an RV and travel the US for a while. Does anyone know someone who did this? -
Since the Bills associate with the working man/blue collar town. There's only one choice.

Forgot about this band. These girls can ROCK. Great musicians too! Wish they'd tour in the US..

This one gets me every time. Brings back some great memories from when it came out in the 90s. Not much of a sad song but it reminds me of a difficult time in my life. One of my absolute favorite songs.

Anyone use an electric lawn mower?
Toomstone.Part.Duex replied to Roundybout's topic in Off the Wall
Had one of these bad boys when I was a kid. Mowed the P's lawn (about 40x60) and a small front yard. PITA part is the cord. That thing ran for about 25 years till they got a gas mower -
What is your favorite totally random Bills game?
Toomstone.Part.Duex replied to T.E.'s topic in The Stadium Wall
The "Just give it to them" game. I remember Moulds having this one handed catch that was mind blowing. -

Was there ever a sport you tried you weren’t good at?
Toomstone.Part.Duex replied to Another Fan's topic in Off the Wall
My buds and me played mainly basketball in summer and played in winter leagues at the Boys Club. Our High School at the time was very good and we'd never make the team. So we'd always play in other leagues in the city. My high school was always good at basketball. Gerry McNamara went there years after I graduated. We'd play football, racquetball, and some baseball. But the one sport I could NOT get good at was Golf. There was a summer I couldn't play basketball. (long story) so I tried golf. I sucked and could not get better no matter how hard I tried. -

Tom Grossi live stream fundraiser
Toomstone.Part.Duex replied to Toomstone.Part.Duex's topic in Off the Wall
Tom raised a million for another charity by using his own money to travel to all nfl stadiums. Go to his channel. You can watch it. This fundraiser is for fallen soldiers kids to go to college. Toms 100% legit. -
Anyone watch Tom Grossi? He’s a packer fan but he’s a funny YouTuber. He’s live streaming till he raises a million dollars for college tuition for fallen patriots. Billsmafia should help out. Go Bills

Nightmare College Professor Stories you have
Toomstone.Part.Duex replied to Another Fan's topic in Off the Wall
Had a strange English teacher at the trade school I went to. He said he would sit and correct the grammar mistakes in the local newspaper every night. Said he had a bunker in the woods fully stocked in case society collapses. Was obsessed with Corvettes and rattled off the windshield angle of every year Vette created. Would give us a SEVEN minute break. He timed himself going down the stairs (one minute) and back up (another minute) and said he can smoke a cigarette in 5 minutes. Hence the 7 minute break. Even the other teachers knew that this guy was insane. -
Who all remembers "The Yellow Rose of Texas" hahahahah! That's way back from 99 or so
