Hot Take: “Old Joe” Flacco exposing what some (including me) suspected…
harryS replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall
lol, Burrow beat KC in KC to go to a Super Bowl. Thank God he's injury prone. Every long-term injury he suffers does knock him down a peg or so in the rankings because he's rehabbing instead of being on the field developing, and scar tissue builds up over time on that body. At his peak, he was absolutely top 3 and is probably somewhere in the top 10 at this point. -
Difference is, Mike Gundy was a man. When he was 40, he told a reporter to criticize him. When Beane was 48, he went on a radio show to tell the hosts NOT to criticize him.

Restructuring Taron's contract was Lucy priming the football for Charlie

Hopefully it's a bad QB draft.

Keon always a lonely dot on these separation graphs, lol

Yeah, but go back one more year and we're talking Ray Davis and Edefuan Ulofoshio

Getting two firsts and screwing two division rivals who are competing for the 1 seed. If the Bills ever go back to playoff drought days, I would hope we were as effective on trade deadline day.

Bills restructure Taron Johnson creating 1.75 million in cap space

As long as Shaheed occupies a corner and a safety, it doesn't matter if he's 4th in targets. Kincaid, Shakir, Palmer, and Cook runs will all become even more efficient. I'd be surprised if any #1 WRs like Olave are traded. I'd be happy if it's just Shaheed. -
Waaaay tooooo eaaaarly - AFC playoff picture
harryS replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Exactly! Anyone who supports 3 road playoff games for the Bills just as long as KC and Balt are not in the tournament are overthinking it, imo. And probably undervaluing how difficult it could be to beat the Colts, Broncos, NE, etc on the road. We want the 1 seed. -
Also, here's a little secret. The Chiefs were wildly overrated heading into yesterday's game. The 3-game winning streak they ran off to go from "The Chiefs are in trouble this year" to "The Chiefs are back, baby, and are the Super Bowl favorites!" consisted of: (1) Home game against Lions team that was devastated by injuries in the secondary (2) Home game against the Raiders who suck generally but were also missing their two best players in Brock Bowers and Maxx Crosby (3) Home game against the Redskins playing without Jayden Daniels and a banged up Terry McLaurin. How in the world do those 3 home wins all of a sudden mean the Chiefs should be road favorites in Buffalo? That's why I confidently picked the Bills pregame.

I got no issue with you but I gotta say, some of your posts are almost designed to anger the masses at TBD. Awwww, poor new england. They have one injury to be concerned about. -

Well, the Pats are about to take their 3rd loss this week in Tampa, I think / hope. I think you're right that the Bills/NE rematch will be huge. -

Thanks. Interesting. The best value here is probably the Broncos at 6.5 to 1 -

Is there a market for this? Or is that your opinion? I would love to play around with a "Who will be the AFC 1-seed?" market. Thanks in advance. -
The Dolphins are expected to continue to be sellers at the deadline. Don't be the square that is betting Bills -11.5 on game day when you could've gotten Bills -8.5 yesterday.

I don't even think I've seen the rollercoaster OP is talking about. We've been appropriately calm after this win, imo. No declarations of winning the Super Bowl or going crazy about beating KC in the regular season. That is old hat, after all, and as of today we are a wild-card team, nothing more. And I don't know about others, but I predicted beating Carolina and KC. Nothing to get excited over yet.

For any degenerate gamblers out there, obviously if you like the Bills to cover, you should bet ASAP. The line most opened 8.5 and now it's mostly 9.5. By kickoff, it should be 11+

Plausible X/#1 receiver trade candidates — are there any?
harryS replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
Deebo is fat and slow this season. Shaheed is the right call. We're probably not going to get a bigger name than that (no true #1 WR), and Shaheed would fit in perfectly with our plan to fix problems by bringing in more speed (i.e. Hairston, Bishop, etc). I'd trade Keon to the Saints for Shaheed and a 4th. -

I am very proud of this answer.

Did losing to the Falcons save the Bills season?
harryS replied to GASabresIUFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Possibly. You would hope that a close win would still have resulted in changes during the bye but you never know. As of now, the losses to the Patriots and Falcons still endanger our seeding and division chances. We need to go on a long win streak before we can speculate that they were good things. -
