The pegulas undoubtedly don’t want to spend an additional $400M for a clear covering. NYS likely have a one single figure help in mind. I get that pegs do not want invest extra $. It’s like giving away a % of their inheritance. ROI needs to factor in player FA, 50 yrs, minors, women and rough weather 18 wks thru January. $9 tix not cutting it today ….btw, this board’s demographic is not filled with players, women, minors. -
Matt Ryan receives fine for taunting Bills
Since1981 replied to Its Allen the hips's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think Matty was penalized plenty at the game. $10k fine a week later is bogus and petty…(tho my inner TMZ wants to know what he said) -

Base aggregate for a highway. It’s structurally cracking apart. -
18 games…mmmeehh. ONE of the key elements that makes the NFL “must see tv”? I watched any random game last weekend and most games mattered and had significance. I’m not saying they are close to MLB, but 80% of MLB games quite literally don’t matter. …they have to be careful to avoid bigger clutches of meaningless games (and teams)

At Tampa half they collectively realized that if Josh has to run, jump or fly…he has to. Held back at JAX. Mark Sanchez kept talking about his QB stats ratings—-says as much about Mr. Sanchez as Allen. Glad our boy is not a stat watcher.

I surrender! our governor wants to showcase manhood (but wasn’t that the last creepy governor?) So, FA, competitives….nope. We showcase our manhood for 59 yrs JAN 7: “To keep it open air is part of the Buffalo bravado,” Hochul said, “which people love to showcase.” -

The real money is made when you are fielding a quality team. Ticket revenue for 60,000 vs 70,000 seat capacity revenue is in the noise. For perspective, Bills revenue is $50M/yr from tickets, out of $350M/yr revenue. -

you people kill me. Have you looked outside today and honestly feel that it’s a recruitment advantage? (Ask Mr Tampa Brady) -
If open air end zone: —small glass pool in the end zone (heated) —-1+ Buffalo Bison 🦬 grazing Totally, need to screw with visiting team psychology.

SB 1990 January 27 SB 2022 Feb 13 +17 days deeper into January/Winter HS sect. champ wk 1 of November. Maybe this is the nostalgia disconnect for “fall October outdoor football” (HS ends vet day, NFL ends valentines!)

Lee Smith mic to a dirty bird sideline: ”…nobody likes this *****, don’t let nobody fool ya…no coaches no players…fans get drunk and jump on tables ‘cause they don’t like it neither” -
My two experiences in OLD fashioned domes were in cities that don’t know football and ugly domes. Indy people read books at halftime—they are not mafia! I like to think about “clear covering with openings”. This idea idea of a clear plastic covering is a good middle ground.

Diggs - bonus for 6 more catches - extension ?
Since1981 replied to First Round Bust's topic in The Stadium Wall
It’s interesting to see behaviors based on incentive. You could bet/fantasy knowing incentives….especially lopsided teams year end. —poyer + Hyde chuckle about a bogus interception at the goal line … “my bonus!” —AB there was some snarking about his incentive not being reached —Diggs, ideally you sit him at half Jets but if he’s 2 catches away—2 yd hitch routes are coming… $500k+ for easy work…it could really skew behaviors in some situations -
On the broadcast Sanchez actually said that “if he keeps running his QB rating will be horrible as rush is not counted (he should stop)” Sanchez had a bunch of disgusting stat awareness comments while Josh ran 125 yards. He is horrible on tv

We are just noticing bad conditions more because we have a modern, quality team, great QB, group of good receivers. Exaggerates our focus maybe. We have evolved beyond “ground and pound” (aka our passing game sucks) Oct 9, 2001 Cleveland a 6-3 over Buffalo. T Edwards/ M Lynch We had a good running back !!?? it was miserable weather, and worst game ever. “In-Josh-We-Trust 2022”

250 Million Dollar Man said, “I’ll sign the deal and know I will do whatever it takes this year, IF next year, Beane, help me out more”. Body neglect since Tampa and I see no reason he will stop until after SB. Again, you know he made a pact for next year. -
QB doesn’t exactly acclimate to wind really. 360 degrees, variable speeds, gusts, sustaining, vertical and horizontal field, start of pass, end of pass. it’s not really an acclimation thing like cold or hot.

because Buffalonians want to be #1 in ***** football weather in 2040: “This was a runaway. No NFL city puts its players and fans in more challenging weather than Buffalo.here is a full list of the football weather misery indices we calculated for all NFL cities with teams that do not play their home games in climate-controlled stadiums. Remember, a higher FWMI means worse weather. 1. Buffalo (77.4) 2. Green Bay (65.6) 3. Cleveland (65.2) 4. Pittsburgh (57.3) https://weather.com/news/news/2019-09-12-nfl-worst-weather-cities
