It never comes down like that. You should pick best player available. you’d have 2 position grades so close it wouldn’t matter which you picked. By 2nd round your pick slot has a couple position grades equal.

I’ve always believed in taking the best player available. The days of drafting for scheme fit are outdated in free agency. With players and coaches constantly on the move, pure scheme stability is rare. You take the best talent and adapt to them.
