  1. Kelly and family grew up a couple hours away or Batavia. Both Hailee and Josh family’s and upbringing are in CA. Children can change everything. We will see. Golf in Buffalo or Pebble Beach?
  2. Nope. He’ll retire in California. His private plane will get them to games when needed. Don’t kid yourselves—Buffalo is fine for a family, but California has plenty of small towns, like Firebaugh. Jim grew up nearby. Josh seems like a well balanced person. He will retire well before he becomes a Rogers Clown Show.
  3. Beane. Attribute and athleticism. same as #17 didn’t work with Elam. He was baaaaaad
  4. I’ll be honest, I didn’t even think he was tradeable. Getting anything is a manor W for the Bills. What a massive bust What’s remarkable about most #1 busts is that even they tend to show flashes of potential, giving us hope that something might click. But with Elam, the instincts were off from day one—there hasn’t been a single moment or glimpse of promise. It’s rare for a #1 bust to not even tease us a little!
  5. It does appear to be a retry of spaghetti on the safety wall and see if a pair sticks.
  6. GM/HC knew how to win Pattycake. Von was a swing. Hope this move helps
  7. Agreed. This FA was good. He signed his own for the most part. Think about it this way? TOP 4 in AFC. retaining your good FAs is key. Bottom 4 draught years? Not so much.
  8. 1 yr tells you about confidence in his health.
  9. Yep. Josh makes $ for all (except me/tickets) But his entertainment value alone?!! seriously, if this had been any drought year…would have blown up even more (e.g., Fitz) Diggs was toxic Mack is good vibes we couldn’t over pay for him, unfortunately. But super for his wallet.
  10. That sucks. the guy was entertaining in every way. Dude smashed on special teams.
  11. There’s an inertia to stay. But, let’s be real. $250 guaranteed means he and anyone near him are set for two lifetimes. If I’m Josh, I sign in a second and “keep my OL top 5 and I’ll be happy” at that level, 10% pay changes are immaterial.
  12. Ground Hog Day. Rinse Repeat. I guess, it’s a “keep swinging until some WR sticks” kind of thing….
  13. EXACTLY Josh is a very smart man. He saw what a good OL made for him. I’d take a 10% pay cut for mor help and a future
  14. Me and Josh both are willing give up 10% wages to work at a place with a future and better coworkers.
  15. The guy and agent saw $250M and signed it so fast. Agent got $5M for that difficult task.
  16. Good trade off. More guaranteed. Less total, that can be used on player. Let’s be clear too. $250M guaranteed is enough money for anything he or his fam could ever want.
  17. She’s so much better personality than Kay.
  18. Our secondary has been crap for 3+ in the playoffs. But I think Philly proved Edge value. That said, Ravens are Bullies.
  19. Could have used Tre over Elam for about two quarters.
  20. It never comes down like that. You should pick best player available. you’d have 2 position grades so close it wouldn’t matter which you picked. By 2nd round your pick slot has a couple position grades equal.
  21. I’ve always believed in taking the best player available. The days of drafting for scheme fit are outdated in free agency. With players and coaches constantly on the move, pure scheme stability is rare. You take the best talent and adapt to them.
  22. Uhggg. offseason threads officially commenced! UFL anyone? No? I didn’t think so.
  23. Jury is still out. Worthy: you can’t teach speed. Coleman: big basketball dude proof Josh can make any avg WR much better is Gabe, Mack STILL needs a downfield threat after Brown!
  24. I think bills would have kept it within 10 pts. Mahomo was off. KC OL was a glorious wreck
  25. New Orleans/LA is shoddy vs AZ FL TX NV CA sites. Good food and drink but it’s by no means bougie. French Quarter is interesting, grubby
