Zay Jones gets new number - 7, his college number

Making it even more horrible. Especially considering the next 3 wideouts selected were Curtis Samuel, Juju Smith-Schuster, and Cooper Kupp. -

Track speed vs. football speed
TailgateChef replied to TailgateChef's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Here's an interesting factoid that most track guys know: you can only sprint at max. speed for around 1.5 seconds. The remainder of a 100 sprint is either acceleration or deceleration (the latter despite your best efforts - and truthfully, trying hard makes it worse - you need to stay smooth and relaxed). Sprinters train for years to maximize speed maintenance, through repetition and technique training. Football is all about rapid acceleration and change of direction. So there really is a difference. I have no doubt Metcalf (and others, like John Ross or Tyreek Hill) could be a World-class sprinter. But as many on here have pointed out, he would need to walk away from football (and the millions of dollars) to focus exclusively on track. To possibly have career earnings of $10 million. -

A LAMP , LITE STORY TO EASE TENSIONS OF FINAL DRAFT DAY !
TailgateChef replied to DrPJax's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
She clearly doesn't know Bills fans very well: "...I probably wouldn't know him". He's our starting outside LB!! Hell, most of us know every backup on the team, never mind the starters. Sounds like he's a great guy, on top of being an excellent LB. Thanks for sharing. -

If you know of Solomon Thomas....I said he'd be the next JJ Watt. On the old Bills forum at BB.com. -

I watched a fair bit of Oklahoma State in 2017 and felt he was the guy. I suppose that makes my take more egregious. -
