Bro, I believe you won the prize!
I live in the San Diego area so I know the sacrifice you made.
My wife and I have talked about getting a fall home in New York someday, so that when we retire, we can hang with family and go to Bills games. Don’t know if it will happen or even be doable but it’s been discussed.
I could be wrong but wasn’t this the play where an OL tried to help him out and propel him by pushing him but accidentally tripped him up in the process?
...if, when you lived in Colorado Springs, started out on a Thursday with your buddies and drove straight through to New York to watch the Bills beat the Eagles 26-0 only to start driving back to Colorado Springs on Sunday night.
Yep, I agree with you.
Living in SoCal, while I don’t know much specifically about the team, in general they seem like a snake bit organization. They just find, and even invent, ways to lose.
They remind me of our bills during the bills drought.
I know we didn’t get him even though we could of. I don’t remember too many screaming for teams to take Mahomes in the first round though. Many got it wrong.
I’m glad that we have our QB in JA. He’s a winner, is getting better, fits Buffalo and wants to be here.
I get what you’re saying. We finally have our guy but there’s potentially going to always be steep competition in our conference.
That said, it’s nice to finally have our guy and to have fans of other teams feel the same way about our QB.
Hey Yolo! While I'm a rookie poster, I have come to this site for years. Don't know why I didn't join sooner.
Anyway, I wanted to say thank you for your weekly opponent thread and all your updates. It's one of the main threads I follow during the week of.
I know it takes consistency and work, so again, thanks bro!
I don't pretend to know the Chargers well. So, for those of you who are more knowledgeable, what is a key player to player matchup for this weekend's game?
Probably gaining some momentum with beating the Hawks and Bucs recently. To your point though, #4 seems a bit generous.
We should be ahead of the Bucs in the nfl.com rankings. To SlimShady's point, they've lost four games to NFC opponents at or above. 500 while we've won four games against teams that are above .500.
Crazy!
Thanks for sharing.
Your thoughts are the reason I started my range with 7 points. 7 points would have the chargers losing a one score game, which they are infamous for.
The 10 point thought could go like this. The game is close, but then the bills gain a little separation towards the end of the game with a score to seal it.
Go, Go Buffalo!
I don’t think they’ll look past the Chargers after the loss they had. That said, if they do, McD will keep them focused so that they won’t look past them. He’s good at that.
Yeah, I’m thinking victory too.
The part that I bolded, I was pretty much thinking something similar.
Obviously a QB needs a surrounding cast but put a below average starting QB on our current team and we’d be a below .500 team. Also, having a great QB can keep you competitive when a team doesn’t have the surrounding cast.
Not saying a team has never won it with an average QB (Trent Dilfer) but it doesn’t happen often and that was a different era.
Well said, bro!
