  1. I could be wrong but I think it has more to do with it being such a great play. I remember my family went nuts when Rogers connected on two Hail Mary passes in back-to-back years. By the way we were cheering, you would’ve thought we were Packers fans but we’re obviously not. It sucks to be on the wrong end of it but it was an incredible play if you’re a fan of football.
  2. Yup, I do agree that they’re the real deal and getting better.
  3. I get what you’re saying, Jerome. That said, that’s a hindsight 20/20 thought. It’s not bad to call a time out when you’re still 21 yards away with 40 seconds on the clock. You don’t want our team to rush it either and then make a bad play or mistake that costs us the game. The odds are just so slim that if the bills score that the Cardinals still win. That said, it happened. But, it’s not because of the time out that we called. Good post, bro! I feel the exact same way. If that play doesn’t happen, people are singing their praises. It’s really weird to see people flip-flop week to week. We have a really good team. Are we the best yet? No. But, we have a really good team.
  4. I think it will be, bro. Except for the back-to-back losses, the team has responded well to adversity.
  5. I definitely see what you’re trying to say. That said, for the last two decades it’s almost been the opposite. We’re usually barely hanging on for dear life for a wild card at this point. Right now, we have the upper hand and we still control our own destiny (after a hard loss) instead of relying on almost every other team losing.
  6. Definitely not as bad but same here, bro! I could just feel my body drain of energy.
  7. Yeah, let’s play this game. And if we were in the NFC East, we’d have the division almost locked up by now.
  8. We beat this Miami team that you think is so well coached.
  9. Bro, what are you talking about? Yes, they lost. They’ve also won more games against above .500 teams than any other team in the league.
  10. If CALI stands for California, which part of California do you live or were you from? We live in the San Diego area.
  11. What’s the reason you don’t think we could win in a shoot-out? We’ve already done it a few times this year.
  12. Yeah, I agree. I still feel like we’ll be in a good position even if we lose tomorrow but 8-2 would be awfully nice. Go, Go Buffalo! I’m thinking more like 30 points but I see what you’re getting at.
  13. You and I must be crazy though, Hap. Supposedly MH isn't good anymore. 🙄
  14. Man, I hope Micah Hyde can play tomorrow.
  15. While he maybe shouldn’t have made the comment, it’s being a bit overblown. He may have thought we were going to have a similar strategy to the Chiefs to stop a high scoring Seahawks team. PC adjusting and the defense getting to JA more in the 2nd half shows that he’s not “stupid”. That said, like someone else said, we adjusted too (which was great). I’m no PC fan but to Hapless’ point, with PC’s track record, can you really say that he’s “stupid”? Bone headed mistakes and decisions from time to time, sure. Poorly called games from time to time, sure. What coach doesn’t? “Stupid”? Nah.
  16. I see where you’re coming from. If the situation in a game rightly called for McD to be a bit conservative, that’s fine with me. I guess I would call that playing wisely though, not playing not to lose. We may be saying similar things, just calling it something different. Playing not to lose is a mindset you just don’t want to teach your players to have and falls into a different category, in my opinion. Appreciate the back and forth, MJS.
  17. I agree with you that there are different approaches and strategies that you have to take to win. It’s a week to week, matchup to matchup league. That said, you can’t play not to lose. There’s a difference between playing wisely and playing not to lose. Playing not to lose changes a team’s mentality way too much. It’s too passive of an approach and it’s just isn’t going to win you many ballgames.
  18. Wow, bro! What would you do for a Super Bowl win? 🤣
  19. Yup, good thoughts! There's just some things you just can't measure.
  20. You literally took the words right out of my mouth.
  21. I agree, MJS. Very easy to root for. Yup! 25 years in the making. Woohoo!!!
