I’m not saying two games doesn’t make a difference. I was saying that it’s not that much easier of a schedule when you have 12 out of 14 (the other 2 versus each other) games that are the same. I see what you’re getting at. I realize two games can make a difference. But your original point was about them having a much easier schedule. When 12 out of your 14 games are identical, the schedule is a little easier but not by a wide margin. That said, maybe I misunderstood your point. While I’m not making a prediction, I think the dolphins will fade down the stretch and we won’t. But, I do think it will be tight for a couple weeks.

I get that those two games are different when it comes to opponents. That said, in the end it’s only two games. The rest of the schedule is identical. Yes, Buffalo’s schedule is a little harder but the Dolphins schedule isn’t easy either.

I agree with your assessment except for the easy schedule part. They play the same teams that Buffalo does except for two.

Finn, good analysis. If everything you mentioned would be guaranteed to be fixed if they worked on it, which two are most important in your opinion to work on? I just don’t see how they can address everything you mentioned in one week.

Yeah, I have a similar feeling. I’m not predicting that we’ll go 6-0 but I could very much see us winning all of these games. That’s why I’m not too concerned about the Dolphins at this point like a few are. I think they’ll fade at the end and won’t be able to keep pace with us. it’s so refreshing to be able to look at the schedule and say we could win all of these games. It use to be that you’d have to invent ways to picture them winning. Now, the confidence is there. If we just play like we’re capable, we can do it!

Thanks for sharing this. This is what I was sharing in another thread. We have the most wins against above .500 teams of any team. What I didn’t know though is that we’ve played two more games against above .500 teams than any other team on this list. And for most the teams on this list, we’ve played three more games against above .500 teams. Yeah, we’re good!

It’s still disappointing, but yes, optimistic.

Yup! So glad we have him and so glad I was wrong about him (initially).

I'm by no means making a prediction just sharing some thoughts. Because of the soft few weeks for the Dolphins coming up, things will tighten. But, I think there will be some positive separation by our Bills by the time they play each other in week 17. We also play 4 out of final 6 games with teams under .500.

I think I’ll stay away from the game day thread for that reason alone. Hahaha!!! Yeah, it’s cool to finally have a quarterback again that can keep you in the game or win you the game more times than not. Tied for 2nd in game winning drives. Pretty cool stuff!

I agree with you, bro! I was upset that they lost but the disdain for players, coaches and players after a loss is crazy. The last time I checked there was only two teams that played a perfect regular season. One of them didn’t even win the Super Bowl.

Right? It completely sucks that we lost. My body instantly drained of energy when it happened. That said, we have a good team and a good coach. Some people are just all or nothing. It’s so crazy, bro!

Bro, I’m not saying that McD is the best coach in the league but come on. Do you remember all the coaches that we’ve been through in the last two decades? Also, who is the coach that gave them the player camaraderie that you speak of? It didn’t just develop out of thin air.

There was one moment and one angle right after it happened where I wondered if the ball hit the ground for a second. It was probably wishful thinking that made me see a bounce. After that, every angle looked fine to me.

It was a brutal schedule, bro! All of our losses have come against six win teams. Of course, there are some that say that all the wins we have against 6 win teams doesn’t count. But the Dolphins are awesome by getting past the two win Chargers. 🙄 Four of our next six games our teams with below .500 records. Let’s go out and show them who we are.

I could be wrong but I think it has more to do with it being such a great play. I remember my family went nuts when Rogers connected on two Hail Mary passes in back-to-back years. By the way we were cheering, you would’ve thought we were Packers fans but we’re obviously not. It sucks to be on the wrong end of it but it was an incredible play if you’re a fan of football.

Yup, I do agree that they’re the real deal and getting better.

I get what you’re saying, Jerome. That said, that’s a hindsight 20/20 thought. It’s not bad to call a time out when you’re still 21 yards away with 40 seconds on the clock. You don’t want our team to rush it either and then make a bad play or mistake that costs us the game. The odds are just so slim that if the bills score that the Cardinals still win. That said, it happened. But, it’s not because of the time out that we called. Good post, bro! I feel the exact same way. If that play doesn’t happen, people are singing their praises. It’s really weird to see people flip-flop week to week. We have a really good team. Are we the best yet? No. But, we have a really good team.

I think it will be, bro. Except for the back-to-back losses, the team has responded well to adversity.

I definitely see what you’re trying to say. That said, for the last two decades it’s almost been the opposite. We’re usually barely hanging on for dear life for a wild card at this point. Right now, we have the upper hand and we still control our own destiny (after a hard loss) instead of relying on almost every other team losing.

Definitely not as bad but same here, bro! I could just feel my body drain of energy.
