  1. Misfortune = not being blessed with the ability to tell the difference between FACTS and opinions. The FACTS displayed contradict the OPINIONS that you need a 300yrd game to win in this league. Passing effectively is whats key - using a litmus test of a QB Stat that he needs 300yrds - in my Opinion is a misguided Opinion.
  2. Ha - you are correct - the article I read just before was Rich Gosselin and it pointed me to next article I assumed it was also his. Ron Borges a top NFL writer as well
  3. Fans dont want more passing yards - maybe Fantasy goofs - fans want wins!! And many fans can see Tyrod has an Off line (right tackle) that provides virtually no protection but Tyrod's ability to scramble mitigates that disaster. Many fans also see the WR core he is being asked to throw to - yet we still see production and when we see lack of production its most often due to 3 runs into a stacked line rather than allowing TT to get in space and throw
  4. Nice take by one of the best NFL writers - Rich Gosselin Bills’ quarterback Tyrod Taylor has always been underrated, in my mind. He’s done more with less for several seasons than one could reasonably expect but it was difficult to tell because there were so many breakdowns on defense and so few play makers on offense that to some he seemed to be the problem. He wasn’t and now he’s playing with a defense that is a problem for opposing quarterbacks he’s 3-1 because of it. http://www.talkoffamenetwork.com/bills-rams-make-predictions-look-silly/
  5. A great stat supplied by Rich Gosselin today There have been 30 individual 300-yard passing games this season. Quarterbacks having those games have a combined record of 16-14. (Listen to WGR complain our wins dont have a 300yrd passer) There have been 18 100-yard rushing games this season. Running backs having those games have a combined record of 17-1 this season. Also of Note: Only two NFL defenses have not allowed a 300-yard passer, a 100-yard receiver or a 100-yard rusher this season – Buffalo and Denver. The Broncos lead the NFL in defense and the Bills rank ninth. Both teams are 3-1. http://www.talkoffamenetwork.com/sunday-gps-eyes-dallas-packers-visit/
  6. Its also a basic difference in philosophy - Rex was ok with CBs who could cover but not tackle. We now have 11 willing tacklers on defense now - hard to believe we had games of giving up 225+ yards 3x just a year ago. Not happening this year, Gilmore & Darby could be awful tacklers - play the tape of the Steelers game in Buffalo last year
  7. A common trait of the TT haters - they cannot seem to understand the defense in 2017 was absolutely awful. A defense that: gave up 3 200 yrd+ running games - 240, 261 & 256 (thats almost 1/4 of your games giving up that on the ground)
  8. All Talent aside - similar problems the Bills have had lately. Our higher paid/key players of Sammy Watkins, Marcel Dareus & Gordy Glenn just not able to stay on the field. A killer in the salary cap era. Where would this team be if I had those 3 playing in all the games and at the expected All Pro level? If unable to stay on the field - move them
  9. And imagine if he had a competent RT & a #1 WR !! TT haters can't admit he is getting this offense to move even when no #1 WR, his 2 OTs are now Jordan Mills & a rookie and Shady getting no holes to run. WGR has brainwashed much of WNY to hate on TT and why often we have to get better evaluations from outside the local koolaid tank.
  10. Donald Wilson provided great insight as to what happens on that last play to Zay Jones - information you will never get on the Jeremy & Howard show When Norwood kicked his FG wide right - Jeremy jumped for joy - now we listen to this twirps opinion? He often sounds like an 8yr old who plays 50 fantasy football leagues
  11. You tell Original poster if they dont like WGR turn the station - yet you now feel compelled to reply to this thread that you feel is a yawn to you? Move on to another thread - good advice you gave yourself !!
  12. They went on and on today about the offense not able to do anything with sammy gone. Do they realize Tyrod avg 24pts game and Sammy missed 8 of those 15 games? And offense played well at Seattle scoring 25 while ending the game on the 5 yrd line with no Sammy !!
  13. Very good point - Gilmore & Darby were awful tacklers - look at Pitt game last year !!
  14. Such facts get in the way of the Tyrod haters who likely get it from Bulldog on GR55
  15. You really want to compare EJ in 2013 and Tyrod in 2016?
  16. They deal Sammy because they dont believe in allocating 13 million in cap to the WR position. They believe in def front 7 and in off lines
  17. What is more important than scoring points? And yes the QB is important - did you see our offense in wk17 when no tyrod? Especially when Sammy missed half the season and robert woods missed 3 games
  18. Yes - 24pts a game ranking 9th in the league in scoring is "viable": - Rex's issue is his defense that gave up 200yrd games rushing too easily - but ya lets blame the QB
  19. This staff does not belive in spending 13 million to the WR position - period ! Look at their history in Philly and Carolina. They believe in defensive 7 and off line
  20. Not exactly so odd when we are moving from an awful 3-4 to a new 4-3 scheme. Many draft picks were for a 3-4 scheme. Add to that scheme change is a totally different view on how the 2ndary plays - from finesse cover/man to man def backs to more willing tacklers playing in a zone defense.
  21. Early in free agency Bills went after OT Andre Smith & OT Rickey Wagner - they lost and then spent a #2 on OT hawkins...soooo wtf you talking aboutt
  22. 2017 Cap hit in a trade/cut is 18 million 2018 Cap hit in a trade/cut is 5.5 million
  23. Nothing happens until you fix the offensive line with 2 picks in out first 4 selections dedicated to it.
