  1. Hughes has had no impact the last 5 weeks or so - any insight on his low productivity the last month?
  2. I would love to see the attempts (first 5 or 6) to run on 1st down in the first half with each going for 0 or -2 yards putting TT in constant 2nd and longs. More times than not when our offense sputters its the poor first down runs setting the tone for a bad series
  3. Right Tackle is it - often have to keep Clay in to help chip over there - it should be top priority - it helps Clay and Tyrod and any RB & WR
  4. More times than not - Offensive lineman signed in free agency are fools gold - teams find a way to sign their quality linemen and let their lessers go off to bigger pay days. We are only one top RT away from becoming near top OL in football next year
  5. Yes - and along with time add in a high ankle sprain, the normal rookie adjusting to 16 game season and an NFL weight program and a family loss Offensive Tackle is an expensive positionto get covered in the draft - this is not drafting a OG or OC or RB or ILB. In 5 years such a player could end up sliding over to LT down the road. The cowboys did not half-ass it and have been rewarded immensely - bringing them success they have not seen since the last time they had best offensive line. They have FOUR 1st rd draft choices on that line helping make a rookie 4th rd QB look great and a young RB look like MVP of the league
  6. Possibles in Rd1 & Rd2 Cam Robinson, OT, Alabama 6'5 330 Ryan Ramczyk, OT, Wisconsin 6'6 315 Julie'n Davenport, OT, Bucknell 6'6 310 Dion Dawkins, OT, Temple 6'5 320 Roderick Johnson, OT, Florida State 6'5 325
  7. Agree Miller is doing a fine job - he will only get stronger each year and learn his craft more each year, Off Line help comes thru the draft - teams do not give up good OL via free agents (even a Ritchie was only available due to outside circumstances). Quality on our line is thru the draft - Woods, Glenn & Miller 1st,2nd,3rd and our weak spot is RT where we have a free agent. I'm all for using our 1st on a RT to complete this Off Line and use the Cowboys formula of winning in this league - top Off line with top RB and mobile QB who does not eat up 30 million in cap. Locking in a top RT for 5 years will give us a strong right pairing with Miller for years. Unlike this "alice in wonderland" wishing for some unknown star qb to replace tyrod - even those who like the idea cant say where this star comes from - this option is real and there is a high expectation you can get a quality RT in the area we would be drafting near the 20s.And it aids both the running game and the passing game - we saw our seahawk upset go up in flames when Tyrod gets mauled for 8 yrd sack because no protection at RT We have never had a successful era in our history without a top Off line unit - all of our failures in Donohoe era can be tied to his refusal to draft Off lineman with top 3 rounds (except of course big Mike Williams - talk about bad luck;; ). He tried solving the cornerstone of off line via free agents and it was a disaster OJ era was a result of Saban rebuilding the off line drafting Seymour, Joe D & Reggie in top 2 rounds, Chuck Knox right away shored up Off line acquiring Dobler and drafting Richter with a 1st,... Polian drafting Wilford with a 1st, Kent Hall from USFL and a nice move to get House Ballard,
  8. And your feeling is based on what - YOUR opinion? How about looking at the Seattle defender's opinions? Or is that too much to ask? You really think Dallas QB better than tyrod? His line is better
  9. AGAIN you cannot answer - "draft a kid" - what kid??? no answer - just a know it all to complain
  10. Who is the "someone else' ???? you may not respect tyrod but seattles defensive players do...I will take their opinion
  11. As long as you watch all22 for all the ither qbs in the NFL and note how many times they dont throw to open WRs - many qbs miss open reads to wrs...especially those with 18 starts
  12. Who is your choice to replace him? we are all ears?? you conveniently did not address that question Cinci been to playoffs last few years and were a 3pt favorite and he was missing his starting wrs, starting rb and starting center - and we WON
  13. Our QB won a huge game on the road without his 2 starting WRs and starting RB and the geniuses on here want to complain about qb play - go away please !!!!! Any count on the number of sacks he avoided that no other qb in the NFL would have avoided? Any count on the running for 1st downs? Season on the line and he drives us for 88 yards from our own 2 and eats up 9 minutes resting our defense? All done with less than 20 starts? By the way...who is your choice to be qb?? EJ? Go look at the jets situation
  14. Apparfently its too much for youto read what the defenders said via john clayton - cant teach dumb
  15. Missing his top 2 WR AND TOP rb HE HAS A 88 YARD drive in 4th qtr....we win....can we count the number of times he bails out the offensive line to avoid a sack and sometimes extend a drive with a scramble for 1st down? No idea what you idiots are looking at - there is no better option - ask the seattle defenders what they thought !
  16. Be the cowboys of 2017 - draft best right tackle available
  17. He is 27 - Tyrod can indicate if he likes him - would give us legit 2nd option - can redo contract to make it more cap friendly - we get a nice WR at a down price because kid was playing with poor team and poor qb play deflating his numbers Woods to be free agent and Goodwin just cant be counted on to stay healthy
  18. Pretty simple...OC & Rex read press clippings and thought he could run even on 8 man fronts Mark Gaughan of News In the first 58 minutes of the game, the Bills ran on 13 of 18 first-down plays. Those 13 runs produced 36 yards, and nine of the runs went for 3 or fewer yards. On the first-down pass plays the first 58 minutes, Tyrod Taylor was 4 of 5 for 101 yards. That included the 67-yard TD to Marquise Goodwin, a perfect play call against a Miami blitz.
  19. Looking back on Shaq film and even off the field it seems he operated heavily with his one arm - has there been any indication how much stronger his left arm will be after the surgery and the difference that should bring to his game? He was ACC player of year playing with virtually 1 arm...
  20. Not at all - in fact sometimes they will be selected in top 10 (Dante Whitner for a painful memory ;)))and if we are picking in the 20s its common to grab a safety there.
  21. In round 1 -we might look hard at a safety ( increase in talent over Graham & cut his $5mil cap hit & allow us to sign Gilmore).... Rds 2-3-4-5 to the offense
  22. Well our system is a power running system - 2 tight end sets with both tight ends being super blockers as well as good receivers would be a great fit. It also obviously ensures our offense always has at least 1 top Tight end available since we'd have 2.
