It’s already been studied and yes it has been reported in some limited cases. Typically an acute event, usually with those that are cannabis naive, and usually when ingesting edibles. More worrisome in that regards is the synthetic cannabinoids that have been developed to “skirt” / exploit loopholes in cannabis drug law. These substances are much more potent and have higher efficacy at the CB1 receptor, which can lead to undesirable outcomes (many of which have made the news). Cannabis is not the be all end all. There are negative effects. At the same time though, there are many positive effects that have just begun to be understood. I feel like there are many other drugs on the market that are FDA approved, that have a MUCH higher risk profile associated with them (cough cough, opiates).

The more research that is able to be done, the more we will find with regards to its’ therapeutic potential. There is a lot of “trial and error” because it has historically been so difficult to perform research due to its’ schedule 1 status. It’s an exciting field, although I’m admittedly biased since I’m currently working on a masters degree in medical cannabis science & therapeutics!

We got one probably 5-6 years ago and I figured it would be a 4K coat rack. I’ve been pleasantly surprised that we’ve actually gotten a lot of use out of it. Wife rides pretty regularly and I’ll go through spurts when I’m trying to get in better shape (I usually slack during football season 😬). Just signed up for a 1/2 marathon in the fall about two weeks ago so I’ll be getting back in the saddle. I’ll say this, it’s a hell of a workout. I can be in good enough cardio shape to go run 10 miles no problem but a 30 min ride on the peloton can make me feel like I’m going to die. That being said, there are tons of easy classes for beginners. Just don’t get mad like I do when I see people like “grandmaRides 74F” passing me on the leader board 🤦🏻‍♂️

And I wouldn’t travel from out of state 10 times a year, stay in hotels, eat at restaurant, shop at stores, etc to go see an Amazon building. It’s easy to cherry pick from both sides of the fence on this. It’s a pointless debate. It’s happening, and each taxpayer in New York will see virtually no difference in their personal tax situation due to this stadium.
