  1. He does not owe you anything. I am sure he has his reasons for responding the way he did. Lighten up.
  2. I think that is certainly a factor, along with Urbik having taken a significant step backward last year from which he does not appear to have recovered.
  3. Wait - there is still more training camp? I was under the impression that the season was over based on the doom and gloom over the Steelers game. That's a relief.
  4. I am not understanding how you have come to the conclusion of this 'wide gap' between Trestmn and Marrone' with respect to the players. I don't see that. Perhaps you could elucidate.
  5. I doubt Sam Miller is anywhere near this team come cut down day, so who cares. As for Joe B, was that intended as some faint praise? I can't tell.
  6. The only place the potential trade of CJ Spiller exists is in the mind of some ESPN talking head who concluded that since the Bills have 4 Running backs they might look to trade Spiller. There is absolutely nothing behind it. Spiller is going nowhere, at least this year.
  7. Perhaps not. I have not been to the practices so I cannot really measure what he says. It just seems to me that his reporting on Manuel has taken on the characteristics of a "drumbeat". It has been clear for quite a while that he does not think highly of EJ and I think it clouds his observations. I do enjoy his reports by in large and like his All 22 breakdowns in season, but I think he is looking for negatives on Manuel as a rule. Just my impression. That said, perhaps EJ really did suck today, but I will wait for reporting other than Joe B and Rodak to come to that conclusion.
  8. I am not sure I take Joe B seriously anymore on his reporting of Manuel. He seems on a mission. Maybe not, but it seems that way. I have never taken Rodak seriously.
  9. Exactly. Hoyer is not going anywhere. Grossman is insurance and mentoring.
  10. He has not played in two years and I am sure the Browns are hoping he does not have to play there either.
  11. I live in the DC area as well and would concur with your assessment. Snyder has kept his hands off for a while now. The most recent problems to me have been all Shanahan(s).
  12. He may well have come down with that ball in the HOF game if the DB did not have a hold of his right arm. He just could not quite get a second hand on it.
  13. But didn't Millner just proclaim himself to be the best CB in the league?
  14. I believe the first run against the Panthers the other night was between the tackles and went for a significant gain. The knock that he cannot run between the tackles is a bit of misnomer, although he is certainly not a power back. He (and anyone else) does need at least some blocking to occur. That was the major problem last year.
  15. The Redskins and Patriots did the same thing last week. No one died.
  16. Disappointing coming from a team leader I would hope he would deal with this with Marrone directly rather than through the press.
  17. It is preseason. Not sue which game you watched last night.
  18. That would be a conservative estimate. Ditto for Denver.
  19. Bills fans are filled with self loathing and misguided envy of other team's mediocre players.
  20. This is the right idea, but probably doomed as envisioned. Too difficult politically and too expensive.
