  1. NO. TEBOW IS NOT AN NFL QB FOR THE LAST TIME! PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS HOLY, LET IT GO!
  2. Rumors started by Tampa -- and the "drug" was for his ADHD. Tampa played him DIRTY.
  3. Paging Mr. Freeman. Paging Mr. Freeman...
  4. Bottom line is this team has snatched defeat from the jaws of victory three times in five games so far and has the all the depth of a hollywood starlet. Injuries have ravaged this team (again) and the front office continues to play cheap. The way this team is run, it's not enough to be talented, you have to be perfect because the front office leaves the players and coaches NO room for error. I am having fun watching the team each week, they're young and exciting and are playing their hearts out. It's just too bad OBD won't help out their own cause. My biggest fear is that we waste Pettine's brilliance on defense. He's here for 2 seasons, tops, before he's gone as a HC somewhere else. Hackett has not impressed me. So, despite being young and on the rise, there seems to be a very limited window for the team to find success... and we're already 3 games in the hole. The good news is that the Dolphins and Jets are not as good as we thought they might be heading into the season, the *Pats are still the *Pats, but 8 or 9 wins isn't out of the realm of possibility still for this team... if OBD gets off their ass of course. If we start Tuel next week we will know full well how little the front office cares about winning.
  5. That's because that's what people say when they're stoned...
  6. Three of those were based on existing properties -- two were even based on existing shows -- giving them a shorter learning curve. More to the point, all of those shows are cable but for LOST. Completely different ball game when it comes to development and execution.
  7. Just goes to show, Hip Hop completely demolished rock 'n roll. Today's country music is the last bastion of rock n roll left ... and it's pretty terrible.
  8. Spot on, Joe. This was definitely written by a man not a woman. Doesn't make it funnier though.
  9. And if Obama had said !@#$k off to the Russian offer and lobbed a bunch of cruise missiles into Damascus for five days, what would you be saying about his policy then?
  10. Without the threat of force, no deal would even be considered.... Sometimes unintended consequences work in your favoror. Or would you prefer the US stand down and say nothing when chemical weapons are deployed? We've done that before too, didn't solve the problem and eventually led us into an invasion of Iraq that we are going to be paying for long after our children's children are dead.
  11. And bombing the **** out of a country to prove a point to Russia and the world has neverrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr lead this country down a road toward future disasters. Who cares who gets the credit if the threat is taken off the table? (big if there, I'll grant you).
  12. Just hypothesizing off your question, but if an alien species were to discover Earth why wouldn't they explore and/or colonize the oceans? Considering how much liquid water there is on the surface compared to dry land, it might be the most logical outcome of a visitation -- especially if they were trying to keep a low profile from the violent humans roaming the surface. Additionally, if they were looking to make contact with the intelligent species on our planet they might just make contact with whales and dolphins before humans. They're far less dangerous than us and it would mitigate the risks of first contact. Plus, chicks really dig dolphins so maybe aliens do too. Just meaningless ramblings...
  13. I know it's so not the point, but Tyson didn't say that. Cus D'Amato coined that one I'm pretty sure.
  14. http://www.cnn.com/2013/08/20/showbiz/elmore-leonard-obit/index.html?hpt=hp_t2 Lost another of the greats this morning.
  15. They have admitted it. Several times. http://vault.fbi.gov/UFO/UFO%20Part%201%20of%2016/view It's backdoor disclosure. But until the cold war generation is dead, the truth will continue to dribble out... unless they offer pardons. Which won't happen.
  16. If they keep Kolb, they'll lose Tuel to a poacher. There's little chance that Tuel makes it through waivers. On the other hand, if they keep Smith as a ST/WR/QB at the expense of Kolb, that would open up a WR spot for one of the young guys whereas if they kept all 3 QBs on the active roster it would mean one less WR for sure. We'll see how it shakes out in a week I guess.
  17. Emergency 3. If they cut Kolb, they have more than enough time to get Smith up to speed as the backup's backup. If they lose EJ and Tuel/Kolb for long it won't much matter who's taking snaps back there so why waste a roster spot on a 3rd QB who can't play other positions when you have a guy like Smith who's versatile enough to play several -- including being a relief pitcher in a pinch.
  18. I can't say for sure because I wasn't around, but I would think at least one of those drugs is waaaaaaaay better now -- and legal. Sorta.
