  10. Being in the Philly area i love this post for a couple reasons, first off Dr Dog is a local Philly band, sadly they are calling it quits but they are doing 5(?) shows are a couple venues as their farewell tour around the new year. Second, WXPN radio, listener supported radio, like you said, they don't have a play list they need to follow, they play what they want and like you, i have discovered so much amazing music through them.
  11. some brain and face melt for your listening pleasure.
  12. such an amazing band, AXS tv has a really good documentary on them. I had a great couple of nights with them back in the 80's when they showed up at a Gregg Allman show at a bar i worked at in the syracuse area, pretty much a 60 hour rock and roll adventure that i got to be a part of
  13. that was cool to watch, i was watching at the end when they were celebrating to see if young Oliver drank any champagne.....
  14. I think he's wearing Crocs, i'll cut him some slack...he's pretty damned good at what he does
  15. A NJ brewery is bringing something similar back
  16. McCartney 321 is absolutely must watch on Hulu. Rick Rubin points out things in Beatles songs that surprises Sir Paul. And to see Macca still get so excited about the music. Such a wonderful 6 episode docuseries
  17. Damn, that's impressive!!!!
  18. Kristy McNichol was my childhood celebrity crush https://images.app.goo.gl/PVbbWNycTrAggWFWA
  19. i am beginning to really hate 'influencers'.....
  20. 1971, The Year That Music Changed Everything on Apple TV. I am about 4 or 5 episodes in, i was 8 in 1971 so i really wasn't in tune with it as it was going on, this documentary is pretty intense. Once i am done with this I am going to do the ?uestlove documentary about the Harlem Woodstock, during that same 71-72 time frame. Some really good stuff.
  21. New Seasons of Rick and Morty and Dave have recently started up....so far they've been pretty funny. Friend of mine suggested an Australian series called wentworth. first (of 8) seasons is pretty solid so far
  22. gonna be a multi film thing or a one off? Kinda hoping for the former. Ray Liotta seems like a perfect fit in that @shrader, almost a chance fictional meeting between the goodfellas family and the soon to be sopranos crew...that would be super cool to see
