  1. I agree. But as far as teammates, I’d rather Cole have Allen’s back than point out he’s not in the top 2. Plenty of ways to address the Jests/GB/ Aaron fiasco without dragging your teammate into it. Sometimes homerism is ok.
  2. My infatuation with him is he ran all over us. If we get him on the cheap, and he is not a feature back, I think I like it. He won’t be the best fit for every game plan. But we can abuse soft D’s with him and use him to soften up the tougher defenses. That said I don’t follow him or anything, I just remember hating to play against him.
  3. Man, I completely agree. With your response and Folz post. I don’t feel comfortable saying our backs suck. They’ve shown flashes. Before we hang them, I think a review of the coaching room from the RB coaches up to the OC is in order. I believe these guys can play.
  4. I hit the laugh emoji but maybe I should have used 🤮. Simply because you’re right and I hate it. 🤞it won’t spiral out of control. 🤣 not!
  5. You nailed the McGovern pick. Congrats. Now let’s get the others. I also feel like Poyer might come back, might. Looking like a Milano deal, test the market, play for a crappy team for 10% more or come back home! Go Bills.
  6. I liked the McGovern signing. I expect a few serviceable players to be signed. Nobody sells hope like Buffalo!!! Edmonds was a hit, but now that money cam be used for a few good starters, and that’s what I considered Edmunds, a good player, but not a first round, pay with that kind of pay check. Go Billls and thanks for posting.
  7. Why do you think its silly? I keep hearing or reading that he’s lost a step. That did not appear to be the case today.
  8. I totally agree with this post. I have mixed emotions because they are the bungles, but man they handled that with class. I have a feeling Coach McDermott tried to rally the troops. Even Steph tried to get them going. I think even with blood in the water, Taylor…… speculating here, I think he saw the pain, went to McD and said let’s end this. If so hats off to the entire organization and especially Taylor for recognizing the moment.
  9. Guess I’m in the minority, I think he’s ok to good. If didn’t make so many mistakes I’d even, maybe, possibly say he’s very good. I’d listen to him 24/7 rather than Chris Collinsworth.
  10. Odd take on the situation. Ever hear of Jeff Bezo’s and his little online bookstore? He lost truck loads of money before becoming profitable. And his employees are definitely not “let’s build nirvana”! Now please don’t consider me a fan of his or Amazon. I think there are definitely multiple ways to build things. But as a retired firefighter, unions and collective bargaining for workers is a good thing. If you disagree, that’s fine. I think they are important. What’s the stat on wealth. Like 1% of the people on the planet control90-95% of wealth. These guys bust their rear ends. Invest in them! Sorry if that’s too soap boxy, and sorry if I came a little snarky early on. But man the workers need some representation.
  11. Thanks for the well thought out reply. I think Milano is a fantastic football player. But I agree that Kelce has been a huge problem for us. Not sure if it’s scheme or player.
  12. Well said. I like to listen to WGR after the game. But God helps us if we lose, the suicide cult act like lemmings jumping off a cliff.
  13. If I played for Houston my attitude would probably suck too. Don’t know his background, but man playing for Cleveland or Houston. I have a pretty positive attitude, but not sure I could hold it together with one of those franchises.
  14. I’d add the Chiefs and Eagles to the good list. Probably Tampa but you know who is on the team.
  15. Went to a Bills game and my brother about 10 years ago. We also brought our young sons. Around 10 and 12 years old. We had tickets for the M and T suite. When boarding the plane (obviously we were in Bills gear) Joe DeLamielleure Was sitting in first class. As we walked by he looked at my son and said “ do you know who I am.” My son did not speak. I whispered in his ear but he was still frozen. We fist bumped and said thanks. When we got off the plane my son said “ I know who you are now.” He told me son and nephew to come over and he told us dads to snap some pics. Good guy, down to earth and he initiated all contact. At the game in the suite we asked if my son could have a pic with Andre Reed. Let’s say I’m not a fan.
  16. I hope your joking. I’m new, but if not……
  17. 1. It’s a clear home field advantage. 2. it’s a brilliant move by the Dolphins. 3. I think the NFL should address it for player safety only. 4. This is on the Bills, where were canopies/ tents, misting fans etc. The training staff was on the field with heat exhausted players. No shade provided, no towels soaked in ice water. I mean come on, let’s accept some responsibility.
  18. Really enjoy your posts and thanks for taking the time to write up thoughtful posts. Might have waited a day to post, this one seemed a bit emotional.
  19. But the late 80s and early 90s glossed it over a bit!
  20. Agreed he has played well. And arguments on an extension seem to be predicated on him getting top dollar. What if he takes a doable/significant hometown discount? Obviously that depends on the market.
  21. Thanks for the input. Growing up in Buffalo I never heard of chicken and waffles. When I saw them here I thought it an odd combination. Nope they are great!
