I honestly for the life of me can’t understand why Daboll forgets like slants exist. It’s like he purposely tries to avoid them.

Its because Daboll is terrible OC. We never run slants either. Peyton and Rodgers are the king of slants, Josh rarely throws any.

No, you can’t just tell 5 dudes to hit the field and get open. Great play callers design plays to get WRs open. Daboll never runs slants or any other pro calls. He sucks.

No, I feel like Allen is one of the most gifted QBs to put on a uniform. I feel like Daboll is a sham. Look what Shanny and McVay did with less.

Because the play calling was stupid. We never run slants ever. Daboll is so infuriating sometimes.

I don’t feel like Allen had that much of a bad game. I feel like Daboll is holding Allen back.

Because Allen is elite. We know he is. He can sling it anywhere and the stats show it, but something feels amiss.

We’ve been saying this for how long now? Allen hasn’t connected well on deep throws. If he does, nobody is beating us, but he hasn’t done so enough to win tough games like today.

Tampa Bay has (Godwin, Evans, and Brown) which are all arguably #1s. Cinci has Higgins and Chase which are top tier talent. Minn has Thielen and Jefferson. Im just trying to figure out why Allen isn’t playing well with the talent he has against great teams.

The problem is today was a big boy game. Chiefs are a big boy game. Tampa Bay is a big boy game. If our WRs are fine, then Allen has to win these games with the talent around him. Allen missed a wide open Sanders today, which doesn’t help. I’m just trying to figure out where the problem is. I feel Allen should be performing better with the talent he does have in these tough match ups, which makes me think Daboll or our #2WR is the weakest link.

Thielen, Higgins. So then why can’t Allen get over this small hump? He has talent, today hurt considering all things. He should be elevating the players around us more than he’s doing. Is it because of Dabolls play calling or is it something else?

Which is fine, but I’m a firm believer you need a high profile #2 WR to win tough games like today. It’s why we struggled against the Chiefs. I feel like a TE or a #2 WR is lacking and making the difference. However Brady accomplished a lot without star power WRs. Hopefully Allen can elevate those around him more than he’s done, because today hurt a bit considering our offense weapons aren’t horrible.

Yes I’m not comparing Diggs to those guys. I’m saying we lack a true #2 that can just dominate when we need it most.

So, lately I’ve come to the conclusion that our WRs just aren’t elite enough. Outside of Diggs, I just don’t think w have that one go to receiver that can just take over a game. I love Beasley, Davis, and Sanders, but they just don’t have that game take over when you need it vibe. How many times have we seen rookie WRs come into the league now and make huge differences. Look at JaMarr Chase today, Davonta Smith, and Jefferson last year. How is it they come in and put up 100 yard games, but we can’t get that regularly out of Beasley and so on? We all know Allen is great, but something seems off. Burrows and Cousins seems to be doing more with less compared to Allen. Is it Daboll or the WRs we have? Cause it doesn’t feel like Allen is to blame.

Allen is 1 more weapon from being unstoppable. If this team had Davonta Smith or JaMarr Chase I’m willing to bet we win despite playing as bad as we did.

It will come with time. Josh is still a QB baby. Josh has better stats than Brady at this point in his career. Allen is really good, trust me we are in good hands going forward.

Ben gets the ball out the fast in the entire NFL. Nobody should be surprised by lack of sacks today. He only had 13 last year. Do some homework.

Yeah, he has struggled on deep passes most of his career. How many times do we see QBs like Cousins hitting those plays regularly. When Allen figures that out, he’s going to be darn near unbeatable.

Daboll is a liability, I honestly believe Daboll isn’t a good play caller.

Part of me hopes Daboll leaves. His play calling is a liability at times. Allen is top 3 QB in the league, there is no reason for today’s performance and I mostly blame Daboll.

Bills are still going to the super bowl. Allen hasn’t even reached his ceiling. If this is “bad” Josh, we are going to win a lot of games.
