  1. Starks makes no sense whatsoever
  2. Will be interesting - I think we trade down with the giants to 34, and get a late 3rd (99) while giving up one of our early 6’s (170 range)
  3. One option for Beane is he has 4 picks around 175 in the 5th. He can take one or two of those along with 109 and move up into the 3rd. With 10 picks currently, we Don’t have 20 open spots
  4. All 4 guys were ultra competitive and feeling the pressure. If you watched the video, you’d see it
  5. It delends how the board falls. If Grant, Tyrell, Amos are all available at 30 and we like them all, I have no problem trading down to 34 with the NYG and gaining another 3rd while probably throwing back a 5th. There’s a ton of value in rd 2 and rd 3 this year
  6. Wouldn’t hate this, Johnson would be a dream. Would still be able to get your DT at 62 and hope for a decent WR or Edge falls to 109
  7. Saints too are a team to watch if they don’t get a qb in the 1st True / if he’s gone there’s always Kevin Williams, Jaylen royals and later in Thornton.
  8. Solid - grabbed lot of the guys I liked. I would have drafted Blue over Neal and if Bond is still on the bills board, I still wouldn’t have taken him as he’s a virtual twin to Tai Felton
  9. I have watched anything on Nash, Bills have had a lot of meeting/interest in Landon and Ty. Problem with Landon is he’ll probably go in the 40s so we’d have to trade up from 56 to get him
  10. Trade makes sense - I mentioned basically the same thing a page ago. #34 is too early for scourton and there should be other DT’s at 41 then Williams. Porter is solid but I’m not taking a RB that early (how’s he getting PT) and where’s the WR??
  11. Fair - and they can franchise Cook for $13m the following year. I think they agree to something around 4 years/50m. The good things about cook are his explosiveness and not much wear on the tires (didn’t play much at Georgia and plays < 50% with Buffalo). The not so good things about Cook are he’s a below average pass blocker so isn’t a full time RB and how much of his production is due to him vs our outstanding Oline? He missed one game last year and Davis had a huge Gabe vs the Jets Oh and Amos will 90% be there at 30 but would never be my pick at 30. He does everything well but nothing outstanding. Not a game changer to me
  12. I don’t think any of those guys are worthy of a 1st rounder. Take the DT or a stud DE if one falls and see whom is available at 56. The Morrisons of the world will be really good picks 6’0 and 183 is not small for a CB. Factor in his confidence and crazy speed (4.29) and I think he’s the 4th best cb in the draft. I still don’t think I’d take him at 30, but with the immense depth at DL, I wouldn’t be surprised if Beane does
  13. Golden scares me. He did have a nice 2024 and a killer combine but pre 2024 he was viewed as a 3rd round pick. We’re not trading up for him with our needs at DT and CB. I like taking a chance on Jalen Royals or Kevin Williams in the 2nd or Thornton JR in the 4th.
  14. I don’t see us taking a CB at 30. Maybe if we trade down with a QB needy team (Giants at 34), New Orleans at 40. Prediction: trade 30 and 108 to NYG for 34 and 65 34 Grant 56 Harrison, Revel, Morrison (one will drop due to size and injuries) 62 Jalen Royals 65 JT Tuimoloau
  15. I feel these online simulations aren’t true to value, but this is the one I just did which seems somewhat realistic: traded 30 and 109 to NYG for 34 and 65. NYG as expected took their QB - makes a ton of sense. Picks: 34 DL - took Nolan over Grant 58 CB - Hairston - don’t think he’ll be available in the real draft but he was here 62 EDGE - took Swinson over Tuimoloau 65 WR - took Higgins over Kyle Williams This is why I love trading slightly down out of rd 1 and in this case ending up having (3) 2nds and the first pick of the 3rd. This draft is so deep and with those 4 picks we fill all 4 of our biggest needs and with all 4 of those impact players whom could start I traded 132 and 177 to LAC for 125 cuz I really wanted to double up at DL and took Joshua Farmer(a guy we’ve met with numerous times) With Nolan and Farmer, pairing with Oliver, the middle of our D all of a sudden is intimidating. 169 RB Jaydon Blue - crazy speed we’ve shown a ton of interest in 170 CB/S Caleb Ransaw - ridiculous athlete who plays multiple positions in the secondary 173 WR Isaiah Bond - 2nd round talent in the 5th round and we all know why. Doubling up at WR and hoping the charges are false. Nice risk/reward shot here 206 LB Shaun Dolac - took the local kid but he deserved to be drafted and has a legitimate shot to make the team priority UDFA: Punter (Sauls, Mastromanno), CB, 330+ DT, Oline
  16. would love to trade down to 33-40 And pick up an additional pick, from a qb hungry team. Something like 30 and 108 to New Orleans for 40 and 71. Draft value is a bit in favor of Buffalo 40. Davis or Tyleik williams 56. Revel or Morrison, one or both may drop due to injury concerns 62. Jalen Royal 71 best available DE with the remaining 6 picks: double up on CB and DL, RB (love blue), S, LB and P
  17. Your money? And exactly what’s the cap hit? Yeah we don’t know so why the angst?
  18. Probably not a lot but I does think it solidifies we go DL in rd 1 (which we were prob doing anyway) followed by a cb and another dl in rd 2
  19. Well clearly Beane disagrees with you and I’ll trust him. He’s better than Dane Jackson and a better option than Bradbury. High character guy / no downside signing. Hopefully we’ll draft someone who can step in right away and Tre will be a solid #3.
  20. Interesting? Did you watch any ravens games cuz I watched them all. He wasn’t great but he was good especially at the end of the season. There’s no downside to this / salary cap isn’t real
  21. Golden won’t last to 30, prob gone before 20. Im hoping for Harmon, but I could also see grant or Luther burden (I think that’s his name)
  22. I kind of love it. He did look bad with the Rams but actually looked quite good with the Ravens from November on. Worth the risk that 2 years from the injuries he can get somewhat close too what he used to be. I wonder if this signing has anything to do with how bad UPL played for the Sabres this year
  23. I think with Tre resigning the desperate need for a cb at 30 has decreased. I still like one at 56 or 62 but it clearly looks like 30 will be a DT, edge or WR now
  24. And he’s not a sleeper to the bills as they’ve talked to him numerous times. He’s been on my radar for a long time due to his measurable but just wondering if he ends up great, good or like that shorter guy with 4.4 speed and size we drafted in the 5th a few years ago? My dream is to trade #30 and a 6th for something in the low 40s and a 3rd to a team look for a qb. 40ish: cb who drops : Hairston, Morrison, eastern Carolina guy with the bad knee, etc 57: best dt avail 62: top wr avail or DE/s/rb 3rd: Kevin Williams’s or Thornton
  25. My hot take: Beane is a slightly above average gm and McDermott is an average HC who have been made to look better by nailing on draft pick. I like Beane more than McDermott and I think we would have won at least one superbowl by now with an above average head coach
