  1. No player gives a crap about cap hit. It's all about how much cash they took home for the year. Let's do a comparison in 2021: Cash earnings: Diggs: 15.1 million Hill: 15.6 million Godwin: 16.0 million Hopkins: 13.75 million C.Samuel: 13.4 million Kupp: 13 million Adams: 12.7 million. Evans: 12.25 million Thielen: 11.6 million
  2. I don't understand the whole narrative that he is underpaid. People overvalue Diggs because they don't follow the NFL enough. Diggs is in a mix of WR in the 5-10 range, depending on the game. He is paid right in that range. The Bills have already gave him more cash this past year. Let him play out his deal and replace him.
  3. Didn't someone post a rumor about this like right after the loss? There was some other stuff in that post and want to read the other stuff now, lol
  4. Didn't they have one of the worst Ds last year? Wouldn't call that chicken salad
  5. One of the most overrated things about WNY, is their pizza. Never have experienced more greasier pizza anywhere in the world, than in WNY. The inconsistency of places in WNY is something that I have never experienced elsewhere. Every time I get a pizza from a "local" spot, it never is the same. I would welcome Pizza Hut, because from what I remember, their pizza wasn't greasy.
  6. The guy is strange. I question if players will mesh with him, and more importantly, other coaches. Every HC needs a strong supporting cast. Can he build a good staff?
  7. His time in Washington is what is intriguing to me. Coached some really talented players and with one of the best coaches.
  8. This is a MAJOR hire if it comes through. A little nervous it hasn't been announced yet. I'm sure Brady is still holding out that he may get an OC job.
  9. Extensive experience with McDermott and Diggs loved playing for him. In Philly with McDermott from 2001-2008. Somethings Diggs had to say about him: https://www.metro.us/stefon-diggs-pat-shurmur-perfect-guy-for-giants/ His type of offense: Shurmur's system incorporates the West Coast elements of Andy Reid's offense with the vertical passing game of Norv Turner's offense and hurry-up elements of Chip Kelly's offense. https://www.denverbroncos.com/news/broncos-name-pat-shurmur-as-offensive-coordinator
  10. Not going to lie, I don't understand why a person would want to throw away being so close to a SB, to go somewhere that is seems a lot farther away. I don't care about power, so I may not be thinking about it correctly, but I just don't think I would take a HC job right now if I was in Daboll's spot. I would be perfectly fine being an OC on my hometown team that looks to be in great shape. The allure of just being called a HC for a couple years before being fired would do nothing for me. How much money does one really need in comparison to loving your current situation?
  11. Before the year started every reasonable person knew this was the year, but Beane did barely anything to improve this team. KC went out and rebuilt their entire oline with less money going into the offseason than what we had. They then traded for Ingram at the deadline. This season was not just on the coaches, Beane let everyone down by not going for it. He still defends taking a DE in 2nd that was inactive for half the year. Look at who KC drafted in 2nd.
  12. Draft two of the slowest DEs Brought in Sanders, who is considered slow by WR standards. No one else really made a difference on this team this year to consider them additions.
  13. Josh hasnt been around long enough to know what makes a good OC. His opinion is nothing to me. He isn't the guy that will be on the hook for the success of the OC. If he regresses, it will be blamed on the OC, and then the HC who hired him. Josh has a friendship with Dorsey, that shouldnt be a factor in deciding who is best to literally manage the entire offense.
  14. Both guys will have options. It's not always about who the team wants, the coach needs to want to go there too.
  15. Can't wait for him to tell us they need to get faster, and then draft and bring in slow players. Heard the same speed comment last year.
  16. I feel like this is an indictment of how marketable the Giants job is. The roster is terrible, and is the cap space. Going there for a coach could be the last time you get a HC job. Why would a younger guy do that?
  17. Frazier aint going anywhere. Doug Pederson for OC. Him and Mcdermott crossed paths in Philly. You have to be off your rocker to let Dorsey run this offense.
  18. All Obada had to do was put Kelce on his butt right at the line. Such bad coaching.
  19. In the superbowl year, Matt Ryan put up 4944 yards, 70% completion, 38 TDs, and 7 ints. Let's stop acting like Allen now is way better than Ryan in his prime.
  20. Couldnt listen to the press conference, but I'm sure it was another one of McDermott's patented deflect with his same statements he uses over and over again.
  21. Appreciate you understanding what I'm saying. Can't wait to read the boards when the offense takes a step back next year.
  22. Spare me on the pitty party from a team on their 4th afc championship game.
  23. People in this thread are really underestimating what an OC can do for an offense. Just because you have a good QB doesn’t mean your offense will automatically just roll. Look at Ryan with and without Shanny. Look at how many coordinators Big Ben went through. Look at Rodgers and the issues he had with coaches. When u find an offense that works, that should trump a defensive coach.
