I thought the same about the Jones contract, but as far as tonight - I think the folks who point to this being a kind of preseason game may have something. A number of good QB around the league were “off” this week - Mahomes vs. the Lions, Goff though he won that game, I didn’t see the Bengals Browns game but looking at the box score Burrows was bad….the only QB who really “went off” so far this week afaik was Tua.

Jones ran a ton last year. Very close to Allen in # of attempts and about 50 fewer yards.

It looked to me like the kind of pass play where we’ve been on the “no catch” side of the prolonged and detailed review. But you’re right, it was reviewed and review can be pretty quick when it’s the only game.

I personally would have liked to see the zoom in every angle on that pick by Gilmore but it was a sucky throw decision by Jones either way.

It actually was legit BTB DPI with the DB wrapping his arm around the receiver before the ball arrived. It’s just not called consistently. I’m trying to figure out if the Giants OL is that bad or the Cowboys DL is that good
