  1. Wait. We need a reason? Why did no one tell me we need a reason? Not questioning your observation at all, but wondering if there's a source of data on this somewhere? Article breaking it down? Is that the daily hour long podcast? Any idea when? I'd love to see a detailed breakdown but Man that's A Lot.
  2. Dude. Reading comprehension. He's talking about our offense. The run game design used by our offense.
  3. This part is true. He could easily have had at least 2 picks. I'd put Watsons contract as the worst because 100% guaranteed and they've reworked 1x already to throw some of the cap down the road. What's 2 points between friends? Prophetic.
  4. If you don't know, why don't you look into it instead of spouting off about "false accusations" and "nothing came of them"? -As a college player, he was involved in a bar fight, pleaded "no contest" and was sentenced to community service. He had his license suspended for a year for multiple driving infractions, and was charged with interfering with firefighters attempting to put out a fire at his mother's house. He was suspended by the team 1 game for that. But OK, foolish kid, lots of guys do foolish stuff in their late teens/early 20s and grow out of it. He has explanations for all of that, but there's A Lot of need for explaining -As a professional player for the Chargers visiting the Colorado campus in 1993, Bieniemy was arrested for harassing a parking attendant by putting his hands around her neck and making comments, after she reported in that Bieniemy and his group of friends were pouring beer on cars then dropped their pants and urinated in public. Bieniemy was 24 at the time. A second parking lot attendant was hit in the face after being questioned about what he'd seen by one of the other men (identified by 2 other parking attendants), so it's not "he said she said". The other man was arrested for intimidating a witness. Bieniemy was banned from the Colorado campus for a year as a result. Colleges do not take action against former players and alumni who might contribute $$ to the program, without good reason. College towns are also notoriously lax about filing criminal charges for football related incidents. It was a super bad look. -As an RB coach for the Colorado Buffalos, Bieniemy was arrested for DUI in 2001. He was 32 at the time. He was docked 1 months pay by the program at the time. Now it's fair to say those are two decades ago. Bieniemy is 54 now. But "false accusations" and "innocent and falsely accused" GTFO. We all know that many people are stopped for DUI and so forth, and especially if they're public figures in football towns charges don't necessarily follow unless there are serious consequences, as with Henry Ruggs and Britt Reid. All the rest of your post is just boilerplate nonsense. It reads like you're using an AI to generate it. Do you ChatGPT?
  5. That is Amazing! Makes me wish I'd stayed up to see that. While Andrew Luck was playing for the Colts, there was a brilliant "Captain Andrew Luck" twitter account, that described the previous game and the next game as though they were Civil War battles. It wasn't Andrew Luck behind it, but it's a brilliant shout-out for him to show up in that costume.
  6. Thanks! Yep this. Bills looked at him and said "as a backup stashed on the practice squad, Christian Kirksey >> AJ Klein. Kirksey, you willing, you in." Fans made it all into "We signed Christian Kirksey! Yeah, he's on the practice squad, but that's just until he learns the calls. He's better than Bernard, he's gonna be our new MLB!" ignoring that if a team really wants to be able to count on a guy, they usually find space on their 53 man roster. Vet players typically (not always) wind up on practice squads because no other team in the league wants to roster them. See Beasley, Cole.
  7. If another team he wanted to sign with made him an offer, he didn't need to wait. He could have signed right off the Bills practice squad.
  8. Kirksey doesn't have to ask to be cut or traded or go behind the scenes to catch on somewhere else. He's on the practice squad. He's a free agent. Any other team can sign him to their 53 man roster at any time. I think a vet player like Kirksey doesn't have to be told what he needs to do. He has eyes. He watches the same film as the coaches. He gets feedback and GPS data after every practice, I think the players have access to this routinely. Remember when he came here, Bernard was a big unknown. He hadn't played in any pre-season games due to hammy. So Kirksey looks over the Bills MLB roster and says "I can beat out this Dodson guy, who else they got? I'll be elevated to the roster and playing by week 3 if not week 2, easy peasy." But after 2 weeks, Bernard has played pretty well and his arrow is trending up. Kirksey goes "hmmmm, I might be on this practice squad for a while and it's not for me." All 31 other teams could have signed him before and after he joined the Bills PS, so his agent is telling him "no interest, sorry". So he retires.
  9. Is it possible that the Giants are just a bad team this year?
  10. Purdy has made some immaculate throws this game. As good as any QB in the game. I said it. ————- It’s past getting a little chippy. It’s gotten a lot chippy out there.
  11. It has to be partly coaching/team culture. They all just fight like hell for every blade of grass.
  12. Deebo Samuel is a machine. Wow. Don’t like how long he’s down here. Nail biting time for the 9’ers
  13. I think that’s what used to be known as “emptying the butter boat” over a person If it were Belichick, I’d suspect it means he feels he’s cooked up a way to neutralize him. Edit: on reflection, the stuff Bieneimy said about how well he understands Frazier and McDermott’s defense kind of sounds that way to me. Dear Mr Bieneimy, Mr Milano respectfully declines your flowers. They would clutter his minimalist space.
  14. According to the Bears PR folks, they did not.
  15. Cook didn’t practice because 9 months ago today he was busy. Now he’s got a little baby Cook
  16. Well OK then. Guess you know how to make some betting money.
  17. Replace Purdue with Brady and how every GM felt from 2001 to 2021
  18. Holy Toledo, McCaffrey looks like a slim little guy but he plays like a Tank
  19. The 49ers are built to try to avoid that scenario
  20. It’s possible availability played into it, I don’t think it clinched the deal
  21. So did Lance. My point is, the 49ers looked at Mr Irrelevant and said “we’d rather go with him than with now healthy Garappolo”
  22. Do you think we could wait a little minute and play some games first? The best teams in the first 4-5 weeks and the best teams at the end of the season, not necessarily the same teams
  23. He came in and outplayed Garappolo and Trey Lance. Now I grant, that’s not like outplaying Aaron Rodgers and Josh Allen, but Garappolo had shown they could win with him and they invested a lot of draft capital in Lance.
  24. Is anyone else really positive about the play by play and game coverage by Amazon? I seem most easily able to follow the game with it, so I’m liking it. They seem to spend more time reviewing and diagramming plays and commenting on what just happened, and less time blathering their opinions. Just me?
  25. We seem to be a magnet for guys who decide to retire. Wish him the best A harsh blow to all the "Elevate Kirksey" "Play Kirksey instead of Bernard" campaigners. I consulted the magic 8 ball. It said "Easy Peasy"
