Surprisingly to me, it looks like we should try to trade up to get Josh Allen. Didn't think I'd say that. He appears to have everything McBeane wants in a QB.

So, it could help us (Bills)? If he doesn't get the hype, then he'll be there at 12. May have been there anyway, but if he got the same hype that Allen is getting, he may have went higher? Not doubting you, but would he still be your top guy if we picked at #3? The guy is going to be electric.

Are there any good interviews out there with Lamar Jackson? I've seen interviews with the top 4, but not Jackson or Rudolph; 2 guys talked a lot about on TBD.

Haha. I asked for an RC car and got one like that too, and the only way you could turn was by going in reverse, then forward. I could go on and on about the times I got the opposite of what I asked for. All I'm asking for this Christmas, I mean draft, is a franchise QB. Maybe a beast MLB, a big ol TE, some speedy WRs, and maybe throw in a DT from Stanford, and a RB by the name of Penny. Heck, may as well give me another feisty CB, and some run blocking OL. That's not asking too much is it?

The draft reminds me about Christmas when I was a kid. The anticipation leading up to it is sometimes better than the event. I hope it's not like the Christmas I had where I was asking for a BB gun, but instead got Tin Can Alley.

That's the only thing that makes sense to me too. Because, why would the Giants believe Cleveland, if Cleveland says "we really want Darnold", so if you want him, you have to trade for the #1 pick"? That is just stupid. So, if Cleveland really wants Darnold, they are OK with trading the pick to the Giants, so the Giants can have him? Why would the Giants believe that they would let the Giants take the guy they covet, when Cleveland could just stay at 1 and take him?

How do we know that the Giants covet Darnold. That too could be a smokescreen, and they may want Allen. No one really knows.

Once April 1 gets here, it is going to go quick.

You may be right, and I have thought the same. You (and me) will surely get bashed for it though. We shall see. If Buffalo doesn't take him at 12, I would not be surprised to see one of the Cardinals, Patriots, or Steelers take him. He fits exactly what McDermott looks for in a QB and player. We shall see.

I know what you mean. I'm not sure draft expert, but I see Rudolph as a good fit here. Many here see him as a backup, but the Steelers wouldn't spend that much time on a backup. We shall see.
