I still think we have a good HC and the front office personnel is top notch. The fans and media got too excited about the quick start, but this team always lacked talent this year. They need a top OL coach. They need a young innovative Offensive Coordinator and a young aggressive Defensive Coordinator; not some has-beens. Then have an awesome draft, and get your franchise QB.

The problem is they started fast and built up expectations. No one expected them to start 5 - 2. Now their lack of talent and depth is showing and there's nothing they can do about it.

I'm betting part of Dennison's reasoning for not getting any sleep after the game was because he knew Tyrod was the problem. It doesn't take a genius to see Tyrod cannot find the open guy, does not scan the field, and does not throw with anticipation. He's just not a good QB.

Watkins attitude is what got him traded. Just wasn't a team guy...he was a me guy. This is a team and Watkins didn't fit.

I may be being unrealistic. With the team they are building, with the emphasis on "team", maybe a QB like Tyrod is enough: Be a leader, play consistent, hit the open guy, make good decisions, low turnovers, and use your athleticism.

Not sure what you mean. Doesn't matter to me that he throws for 300 yards per game. Just make good decisions and hit / find the open guys. Know when to use your feet and run. I thought he played really well today. I just hope he keeps it up and becomes consistently good. I would love to not need to take a QB in the first round next year. Not sure why you are mentioning Derek Carr.

Coaches need to realise their QB does not make smart decisions with the ball so play conservative and don't call plays where you have to rely on him making the right choice. Not going to win many games like that.
