I don’t think that chiefs front 7 could do much of anything without jones in the lineup and that whole spagnuolo scheme would completely fall apart. As many accolades as he gets Chris jones is still underrated somehow if wentz is your classic Chad henne backup qb level then yea I don’t think you’d take a mahomes injury over a jones injury 😂

+50ish net points for a 1 loss team has to be a massive outlier and I’d think their record would more closely line up with that as the sample size gets bigger. i can’t see a typical one loss team this far into the season having any less than +100 net points really

Teams are really going after whoever they line up at cb2 as the season goes on…their corner depth was abysmal they lost Watson and have fallen off a cliff. Looked like they benched Nazeeh Johnson midgame today. Wheels are definitely starting to come off a little bit question is can the offense find another gear to keep winning games. I think with their tackle situation probably not but you never know

There’s no way the chiefs even feels good about the chiefs right now lol. These posters saying ‘it’s part of the chiefs magic to almost flub their seeding in the regular season’ are puzzling me 😂 Playoff time last year every team was beat up injury wise but them which really evened the playing field for them. It doesn’t seem like they’re gonna have that kind of fortune this year but there’s still a lot of football left.

I don’t think their defense is gonna be able to carry them against the better teams the rest of the way…everyone is just picking on that other corner spot. Those blitzes just aren’t hitting like they used to without sticky corners on both sides of the field. On the flip side teams are bringing a ton of pressure and those offensive tackles just aren’t cutting it. Their good injury luck last year that was the driving force in their superbowl win last season has been evening out as it often does. Purdy is playing but no Williams, banks, bosa, Lenoir, greenlaw, aiyuk, I think Fred Warner is playing hurt. Even if purdy was 100% healthy I’d jump on Buffalo -6.5 purdy is a completely different player without Trent Williams then all those other guys on top of it? Williams legit could be mvp if the general public understood how important offensive line is 🤣.
