  1. That punt on 4th and 5 with one timeout was certainly a decision
  2. Seems like he holds the ball too long for the modern nfl to me
  3. Idk gabes lookin pretty good through 3 games…he seems like a pretty viable 2 to me. Run game is objectively improved too…people that want to see josh get an mvp may not like it but this offense is certainly better than last year
  4. The fumble was a killer, honestly though 3 of his 4 picks this season have been essentially arm punts (one on second and long though of course) In the past he seems to start doin really aggressive stuff when he loses faith in the offensive line and last season he had good reason to but this year is different. He got real skittish in the jets game I think partly because he wasn’t used to playing with the revamped oline yet. He was bailing pockets early all night. I don’t think we’ll see that again this year as he starts to build some trust with those guys
  5. It’s the run commitment that’s making the passing game look disjointed and it is worth it imo. Also two of the three games we’ve had have been against pretty tough defenses and the other game the offense was firing on all cylinders
  6. Still think the pats win that game if they weren’t missing a lot of their offensive line.
  7. He’s got an easy excuse for ownership and will be getting another early draft pick because of it. Might be good we lost to them if it stops them from getting Caleb Williams lol
  8. This is one of those quotes that probably sounded good in his head and was just horrible and nonsensical in real life lol he thinks the media was saying they were good just so that they could laugh when they lost to the cardinals? 😂
  9. 70 is over the top but Denver def quit at halftime. Miami was roasting bad teams early in the year last year too then they struggled against the playoff caliber teams. You’ve gotta be able to stop the occasional run from a light box or Miami is tough to stop. Their shtick gets a little less effective in the red zone when tyreek can’t take the top off the defense but they ran all over Denver in the red zone today. craziest part of this game was it was 21-10 late in the second with Denver getting great field possession after they stopped Miami on 4th down on their own 35
  10. We struggled against a Skylar Thomson led offense? Lol they had under 250 total yards not to mention our pass rush without von this year has been significantly better than last and they still beat up Skylar all game
  11. I think we can stop the run ok from a 2 deep/3 deep zone…bill b had the right idea and if their oline wasn’t decimated the pats probably win that one.
  12. As much as I want the dolphins to lose it was kind of funny watching tua blow out Payton after Payton said tua would be benched for bridgewater last year seems like the Daboll hype has cooled off too so a double whammy in this thread lol
  13. I feel like you’ve gotta have good disciplined LBers to keep josh from running all over the place and Washington doesn’t really have that. Bills oline has been quietly playin well this year too…we are not a good matchup for Washington imo. Bad weather and anything could happen but decent weather and I think we’re lookin at a comfy win I’m goin like 31-17
  14. I think he wants to in normal circumstances but some games against tough defenses he loses faith that the offense can put a long td drive together so he starts pressing to hit a big chunk play. Normally it’s when the offensive line is getting manhandled but the jets game this year seemed like a special case where they got in his head and he started bailing pockets early when he didn’t need to. I thought the OL held up pretty well in that one.
  15. He’ll 100% get a full season at minimum…pats probably win that dolphins game if they weren’t missing like 4 OL starters. they’ll never fire him it’ll be a ‘I chose to retire’ situation
  16. Man he’s bad at football and dirty in real life and dirty on the field lol dude hit the trifecta
  17. Deshaun Watson might be the worst qb in football
  18. I mean that thought experiment was to reinforce the idea that there are maybe one or two sure thing offensive minded head coaches in the league right now and the bills if they ever have to dump McD will not be getting one of them. realistically they’d be rolling the dice on a college coach unproven at the nfl level. 13 seconds was devastating but the best qb in the league with the fastest receivers in the league,Travis Kelce, and 3 timeouts getting into mid fg range to tie the game isn’t an instant coach firing situation imo. Heck the bills pretty much walked off against the lions like that last year. I’d still rank it below the seahawks passing from the 1 yard line against the pats in the superbowl and plays like the Minneapolis miracle as far as egregious ways to lose in the playoffs go
  19. I mean for wildcard purposes sure, but 0-2 in the division makes that next game against the ravens an absolute must win. Lose that one and they’ve gotta make up 4 games on baltimore the rest of the way to win the division
  20. Realistically what coaches are you talking about? Andy Reid sure I could see that…but who else? taylor seems like a bum getting pretty good results out of an insanely stacked offense then you’ve got guys like sirianni, mccarthy, shanahan, mcdaniel.
  21. Yeesh they’re gonna start 0-3 then after a couple winnable games to catch their breath they’ve got the chiefs twice in three games.
  22. Was just gonna say that…looked pretty similar to me but in the jets game josh watched the jets rally to a few underneath throws real quick and lost his patience with it. those kinds of plays were still being called he just went rogue.
  23. Singletary objectively would be the fourth best rb on this roster lol
  24. Zac Taylor is in the bottom half of coaches in the league imo he just has an absurd amount of talent at the skill positions because they got an early first rounder after the year burrow was out. their DC should be the head coach…he’s doing a lot more with less compared to what Taylor is doing could be some wishful thinking but I think their superbowl aspirations take a big hit when they inevitably lose Higgins
