  1. In late February, the Bills announced that Berchtold would be stepping down as VP of Communications — a spot he has held for nearly 30 years. It was also announced that Derek Boyko, who has spent the past 17 years with the Philadelphia Eagles, will take his place. Boyko joins the Buffalo Bills at a perfect time. Reports early this off season suggested that there was dysfunction in the organization, which was quickly dismissed by owner Terry Pegula as an “insult.” Whether there is — or was — dysfunction, the team has been taking hit after hit in their PR department for quite some time.
  2. Jimbo is old news. He'll give an interview / opinion even if he never had a great SB. He loves the attention.
  3. That loss to San Diego hurt as much as the SB losses.
  4. I so agree about Fromm. The more I read about him regarding his leadership abilities, work out habits and commitment to WIN he may be a great asset to the team!
  5. Bills win their first AFL Championship at War Memorial Stadium. Cookie in the backfield. Final score one the old scoreboard.
  6. That's the deal! Great turn around in a basically poor game by the Bills.
  7. What year, who was the opposition and who scored the winning TD??? A great memory in Bills history!
  8. If the CFL doesn't play games this season he may be available for a quick look by the Bills!
  9. Karlos played just one season in the NFL with the Bills. He was drafted in the 5th Round in 2015 and in his rookie year he averaged 5.6 yards per carry. At 6’1, 225 lbs he was a force out of the backfield with 4.48 speed. Williams had a couple 100-yard games in ‘15. He finished his rookie season with seven touchdowns. He tied an NFL record by scoring a touchdown in each of his first six career games while being a back-up to LeSean McCoy. Karlos was suspended 3 times by the NFL for violating the substance abuse policy. He was released by the Bills in 2016. These suspensions have now been lifted. In 2020 he was signed by the Toronto Argonauts in the CFL as a free-agent. At age 27 - - does he deserve another chance in the NFL and in particular the Bills?
  10. I think we have become a "big boy" without knowing it.
  11. I'm glad too! A hassle going to the games at night - and - the Bills seem to play better on the road at night!
  12. He's become ancient history for young players. If he can't produce on the field anymore who listens?
  13. With a solid roster, as the Bills now have, you can make a pick like this. Maybe he becomes trade bait for a good team looking for a kicker at the start of the season - or - Stephen could be traded also. A THINK AHEAD pick!!!
  14. I agree. He got us to the play-offs with different HC's and 'stars'. He's a good man to represent the franchise!
  15. "Its always something" could be the truth. Think about the entire Pegula situation. Kim is 19 years younger than Terry. Kim has a degree from Houghton College, was a secretary for Terry in her very first job and now she is basically running the show in his name. They both have difficulty speaking in public. Communication difficulties seem to happen through out all their organizations. McD is way to smart to think "What - me worry"!
  16. Great question! Who has he coached to success? I think he's taking advantage of the CBA and his "Palmer" name to make big bucks. Notice how he makes the rounds on all the national and local sports networks promoting a guy in his camp. He's a con!
  17. My first game was with my Dad on October 24th 1960 at WMS. It was pouring rain and we had seats in the open end zone. We moved to mid-field as it was the lowest attended Bills Home Games in history with 8,875 in the stands. The Bills beat the Raiders and I was "hooked" for the rest of my life.
  18. Why don't teams just leave the old jersey's alone? Or is it low dive for more money only? Sad!
  19. I've searched everywhere also - no luck! Wonder why it was "banned" ? I was at the game with a large group from my company located in Lancaster NY. It was a fun game.
  20. So agree! Watching any Bills loss makes me ill - really ill!!!
  21. Ralph passed away today, March 25th, in 2014. Regardless of the hassles, turmoil and lousy teams Ralph brought the Bills to Buffalo and kept them here through thick and thin! I so wish the Kelly era teams could have won a Super Bowl for the man! His wife Mary continues on in his memory doing great charitable work in the Western New York area. God Bless Ralph!
