    So your system could have the 1 seed having a bye in the first round but not the second round while the 6 seed could have a bye in the second round but not the first round. And you think this is better than the current system where only the regular season winner gets a bye? That’s a tough putt.

    Like 24-0? Can you show your math on that one? I can’t figure out how having 5 teams in the divisional round would work.

    When the Bills finally punch through and win one, the entire fan base will get to enjoy the ride of having a great regular season. Until then, there’s always going to be the “yeah but” in the back of fans’ minds.

    I genuinely have no idea. Gun to my head, I’d probably rather play Baltimore because our run defense is so solid. There’s also the fact that Josh is one of the very few people on the planet who can turn a great defensive play into a TD. Then again, Lamar did just that against us in the playoffs last year, so who knows? Maybe it’s that Lamar is more likely to gag the game away.

    Sure, but I’m not worried about hash marks with 40 seconds left and a timeout. I’m trying to make it a 28 yard FG instead of a 37 yarder. I have seen WAY too many kickers choke to ever trust them with my season. We were an inch from seeing it happen again.

    I think it was the old “pick your hash mark” play. They could have run two QB sneaks and been 8 yards closer. It’s unfathomable to me that you can have a quarter billion dollar payroll and choose to risk your entire season with the 11 lowest players on your roster.

    The Lions are going to kill Washington…absolutely slaughter them.

    Instead of running for a couple of yards, Washington decided to kneel down for a loss of 3. Had it been a loss of 4, he misses that kick. It’s insane just how terrible NFL coaches are at basic strategy. Maybe they’re so focused on advanced metrics that they don’t even understand common sense.
