  1. They need him? For what exactly? Garbage time stats, only shows up against bad teams, and can only get his team to around 500 despite being surrounded by talent. Yup...that's the guy I wanna pay top dollar to lead my team
  2. Again...the guy had arguably the best RB and Oline in the league making his.job easy. When did I say let him walk? They have options. They can franchise him and trade him to a team that believes he's the guy like some of you do. I know Dallas fans that don't think he's worth it and would gladly move on if someone else wants to pay him what he wants and compensate them. And lastly...it seems your overall point is just pay the guy cause he's a decent player. As if Bills fans or any team let alone Dallas will be content with being a 500 team that can't beat the better teams in the league while being paid as a premier player. You would have probably wanted to roll with Tyrod and pay him 30 mil too. Loser mentality to the max
  3. I doubt Tennessee will be in on him due to the Tannehill, Brady, Henry, Conklin dealings. Bills should swoop in on him quickly and make a strong offer before the market gets going.
  4. I think your not doing your homework on him. He put up alot of his numbers against bad teams or in garbage time. When it mattered most, he failed to deliver...all while having an all world line, RB, and good receiving options. He's not underrated at all. Many can see through the empty stats and don't believe he's the guy because he just hasn't shown it. I'd bet anything that Dallas will regret this within three years and will be looking to move on/get out of the deal if it happens.
  5. With all the attention Dallas garners, Dak is going to be scrutinized even more with a big fat contract. The fans and media will rip him if they aren't winning, and I would imagine that he'll never live up to the contract and eventually Dallas will move on realizing it was a big mistake.
  6. I would be fine with this. And as far as Star goes...it doesn't matter much. We are most likely moving on from him next season. We can pay both this season. It shouldn't stop us from getting a player they feel is an upgrade for this season and after.
  7. I believe in never committing to a specific strategy until after free agency and until the board plays itself out. Until then it's foolish to be locked in to anything
  8. Backs are easily attainable in the draft...that's where the value is at.
  9. Talent wise I'd rather pay Trent Williams then Dawkins, but he is already integrated into the offense and is younger, plus you don't have to surrender draft compensation. A straight up swap between the two is interesting though...
  10. I live in the Philly area and Dillard had issues in camp where he kinda went after a veteran player where it was reported as a dirty move by him. I think the reasoning was told as he did not handle the physicality and hard play well and kind of lost it a bit. Didn't hear anything else after that. As for Alshon...the guy was causing issues with the QB and has appeared to have lost at least a step. I'd be very cautious about acquiring either player, and I'm a hard no on Jeffrey.
  11. Fair points. I suppose if the team is in the perfect position (meaning salary cap wise and being a contender) and the player is going to live up to the contract he gets then it may be worth it. He must be a vital piece on a team that makes a deep playoff run for it to payoff in my eyes. I personally do not see Ngakoue as that guy, but it's within the realm of possibility. No doubt it's a position of need and that the position is hard to find elite talent.
  12. We'll see how it works long term as both those teams are now in difficult cap situations. Not having a high round pick certainly won't help if they have to make tough decisions.
  13. I agree. It's one thing to pay a guy or ro trade for a good contract. To give up a high pick and pay top money is what bad organizations do.
  14. Watch out for a trade should we fill our need for a pass rusher in free agency. They'll have to jump Oakland if they want Jeudy, and Lamb won't be on the board within a few picks after that.
  15. I think he's done and not a process guy, so it's a hard no for me. If cut on a one year prove it deal I could live with it, but trading for that contract is insane being he appears done and the Eagles will most likely cut him.
  16. There was no reason for Green to come back to a dumpster fire last season and risk injury when he was gonna be a free agent. I don't see any problem with how he handled things
  17. I hope Green makes it known that he will not play under the tag and that they need to trade him if they won't pay him. He's the perfect fit for this team if he's past the injuries, which I imagine so since he basically sat out to preserve his health.
  18. I'm hoping Ruggs is overvalued and taken before Cedee Lamb. That's the guy I'd rather have, so better chance if Ruggs goes before him.
  19. People went nuts because it was a MAJOR weakness in his game that was hurting his overall ability to play the position at a high level. Also a reason why he'll be riding the pine everywhere except for us where that buffoon Rex Ryan thought he was smarter than everyone else. Allen's issue isn't at the level that it prevents him from playing at a high level, but it's an area of weakness that would result in his overall game becoming stronger should he improve at it. With Allen I expect and believe in him improving every year. All signs/indications point towards that, so to me I'm really not concerned.
