I hope not. My nerves can't take another game like last week.
-
21-0 Bills halftime. 24-21 Raiders late 4th. 28-24 Bills final.
-
I would rather the D gets their act together with Allen throwing for 300+ and the Bills dominating on the scoreboard. If they are going to get by KC/BAL/PITT come playoff time then we will definitely need the D to step up.
-
But remember that Darnold is better. Jets fans say so and they are the most intelligent fanbase in all of sports.
-
As a person he is a POS but you can't deny his accomplishments on the field. He is considered one of the greatest RB's in the history of the game. He also has the record for most yards rushing in a single season. Sorry Eric but 2,003 yards in 14 games >>>>> 2,105 yards in 16 games.
-
True to expect 300 + yards and 3-4 TD's every game is unrealistic but their is no reason he can't be a franchise QB like Brees, Brady, Roethlisberger etc etc, Sure their will be days when he has a bad game or the numbers aren't there but that happens to every QB. Josh has all the talent to be top QB in this league.
-
Why? He is getting better. You can see the game is slowing down for him. He is doing a much better job reading defenses and being smart in where he goes with the ball. If anything I think he may run less. He is to important to this team to keep taking unnessary hits. Who knows what numbers he will put up going forward but he has all the talent in the world to lead the Bills to a Super Bowl and go on to have a HOF career.

Talks underway to allow fans in Bills Stadium

It would have been fun to see 72,000 in the stands. Everybody would have been going nuts for the first 2 and half quarters. Then major booing would have occurred. Then the place would have gone absolutely bonkers on that final drive. -
How many 4th quarter comebacks does he have already in his career? He seems to be at his most impressive during crunch time. We haven't had that from a QB since the days of Kelly.

Didn't Chris Johnson say Gase was an offensive genius who was taking football where it needs to go? I don't know about that but he is taking the Jets to where Bills fans want them to go. I hope he keeps his job but living 20 minutes from MetLife I can tell you Gase is a dead man walking from all the media reports. At this point its not IF but WHEN he gets the boot. If the Jets lose Thursday night vs the Broncos then there is a good chance he is gone with GW taking over for the rest of the season.

Is that really any more dangerous than going into a store and buying a food? I would say at an outdoor stadium with proper social distancing that people can remove their masks when they are at their seats. But if they get up and go to the bathroom or buy food/beer then they should be required to wear a mask. You are probably talking about 10,000 people in a 72,000 seat stadium so it shouldn't be a problem. -
MNF: Chiefs at Ravens, 8:20 on ESPN

I am glad the Chiefs won. They will probably only lose 2 or 3 games all year. I hope they come into Buffalo 5-0. Maybe the Bills can get them on a short week as the road team is in a tougher spot for a TNF game and give them a rare loss. -

https://abc13.com/houston-texans-coronavirus-when-will-fans-be-at-games-can-i-go-to-nfl/662844 Texans are allowed to have up to 13,300 fans at their games. -
Getting a win here would be really big. NE plays at KC so their is a good chance the Pats are 2-2 by next Sunday night. A Bills win would not only give them a 2 game lead in the division but the Bills would become the first road team to get a win in the Raiders new stadium. That would be a pretty cool thing to do. Plus I don't know what the odds are to make the playoffs but a 4-0 start I would think they would be pretty good.

The defense needs to get its act together. Up 28-3 midway thru the 3rd and they allow 4 TD's on 4 straight Rams drives. Thrilled that the offense saved the day but the Bills have to do a better job of closing out games. I don't care who they are playing. They can't allow a team to get back into the game like that. -
Could Mahomes vs Allen be the next....

I know its early but Burrow seems to have the "IT" factor for being a great QB. We will see if the Bengals can build the team around him. -

Let's not forget about Tua. If Miami loses tonight to go 0-3 then the Tua watch is probably on starting in week 4. Could be another Kelly vs Marino scenario between these rivals. -
On the plus side there are no "real" road games (no crowd noise) but unfortunately no "real" home games either. That sucks for teams like the Bills, Chiefs, Seahawks, Steelers who have strong homefield advantages.

Fine by me. Two Super Bowl championships with Allen having a HOF career.
