    1980 Bills 10 Rams 7 in OT. Bills first ever win against the Rams. Clinched a playoff spot which they hadn't been in since 1974. Stadium went nuts celebrating a return to the playoffs.

    B. Say one thing for Beane. He has gone all in to fix the defense with FA and the draft.

    The Sabres are a different story, but the Rangers should not only have missed the playoffs, but they also shouldn't have been competing for a WC. They should have been in the top 3 in the Metro and clinched easily. But that is why they play the games as you never know what is going to happen.
