  1. So, you're saying the teachable moment came and went? You'll get 'em next time. 1 of these players CAN and one of them, CANT. Edmunds was trash despite his freakish size. That much is evident. McDermott has two milano's now. That makes McClappinstuff very happy, I'd imagine. He was asked to blitz plenty. All I / We ever saw was edmunds washed by some middling guard, or taking the wrong hole and yes, you guessed it, got washed out for no impact. Good QB's recognized it, and heyyyy what do you know a giant hole over the middle formed. They stopped asking Edmunds to blitz because he can't do it. Watch Cover 1 on bernard and how he selects the proper holes to hit.... The difference in Edmunds game vs Bernards game is like watching a toddler try to race a varsity athlete. Poor ol tremaine, never had it between the ears where it counts, and he never will.
  2. Do you point out that it's the same defense, and that Edmunds just wasn't very good?
  3. Just chiming in to say, god I love this thread and all contained within. Kudos to all those who trusted what they SAW with their own eyes VS what some knucklehead on TV or the internet foisted upon you. The great Edmunds debate is over. He is who we knew he was. Donte Whitner + Mike Williams + Trent Edwards all wrapped up in a linebacker. Insane.
  4. ahahahhaha wtf? is this real?
  5. I cant believe Buffalo has lost to zach wilson twice. it makes me physically ill.
  6. McDork will expose him badly
  7. Absolutely spot on. Our dude is 6’5” 250… it’s a 1000% certainty they convert on 3rd or 4th and 1 or less running a sneak. EVERY EFFING TIME. Maddening to watch Philly do it, yet buffalo wants to get cute… maddening
  8. Yessss king. Yes. We all need to learn around here to remove the rose colored glasses. It wasn’t even hard with edmunds. Yet “you don’t know football” and worse… numbers don’t lie fellas. Politicians do.
  9. Oh I never thought about that. Yea, he probably did. More than once I bet.
  10. I mean, the argument is over. We needed JAG replacement level performance to replace edmunds. We got well above that in the first 3 games. Bernie has = or surpassed every Edmunds impact play statistic in just 3 games … telling just how poor of an instinctual player edmunds is.
  11. Our very own italian meat missle. 😁.
  12. apparently someone cares as I was asked for my opinion. now move along geek, nobodys talking to you.
  13. 47 players from CFL made it. 32 teams times 53 player rosters is 1696 active players on the nfl teams. That works out to 2.7% of roster players come from XFL, USFL had 14. That’s .08% on rosters. So even with 16 TIMES the talent pool to pick from, the nCAA only loses by 1.2% in all of college football. And be real. The SEC is NCAA football.
  14. as opposed to how many from USFL/XFL? .016% idk.. doesnt matter. its not sustainable and it never will be. The owners are just gonna get massive tax breaks. theyve tried this too many times. Once the NFL throws money at it, it might be viable. till then, you need the blessing of the king, or they're all destined to be banished to obscurity. NFLeurope is the concept they need to use here. I'll also point out 20% of the current NFL rosters are from SEC schools, and there's roughly 260 D1 football programs, as opposed to what? 16 teams between the USFL and XFL.
  15. honestly my take is, NCAA is worthy of watching because A: they come with interesting back stories and B: it IS the NFL's "talent pool" for the draft... the issue with XFL/USFL = they already went through the process and were not up to snuff to make it in the NFL or they'd be there... its like watching a movie with no plot. the caveat is, of course 1 or two good stories might come out of it every year, but thats a giant pool of nobodies and never-will be's that people invest time energy and yes money into... in my world, time is more valuable than money, so it makes no sense to me why you'd watch that kind of entertainment with no stars, no chance, and no real plot... again, my opinion is my own and i really am curious why americans waste time on such things. The same argument can be made of the NFL if you REALLY think about it.. but the NFL is a movie with a PLOT, and in my case im from Rochester, grew up in a bills family, and i look at it like a legacy thing... i KNOW its a waste of time and emotion, that doesn't stop me from getting fired up. Buffalo DESERVES it... does Birmingham?
  16. lol. what is this... is that like the 5th player to sign then bounce? shell, harvin, the guy that quit at halftime, kirksey, and who else?
  17. sure, live events much better. *I* was talking about why would someone waste their time watching on TV
  18. Yep. Size queens couldn’t handle the truth and what our eyes told us about his play. beane did perfect letting him walk for that insane money London fletcher says “sup”
  19. ooo careful, you'll be referred to as racist for pointing this out.
  20. Why? Go outside. Get a Haircut, change your oil, Cut your nails, wash your dog... plenty of other way more productive things to do... Can you tell me WHY you watch it? Im genuniely curious...
  21. OMG. let it die already. nobody cares about this... who watches this garbage?
  22. comes down to coaching and scheme with miami, Mcdaniels, while yes, a punitive dorky looking nerdboy.... IS an offensive genius. Hope McClappy has something up his sleve ala Bill B... otherwise its gonna be a long sunday. Does Clappy have the stones to add a massive wrinkle to the defense?
  23. dude was making people make "business decisions" all day. Ran with authority. Love it.
  24. Nobody listens... you need JAG performance to replace Edmunds... as it stands Bernard has the same amount of INT's as edmunds did all last year. Depth of tackle is superior to edmunds also. Remember kids, just because something looks dangerous, and freakish, doesn't mean they can play.
