  1. The Browns are the tire fire most NFL fans were hoping for. If their QB wasn't such a prick their poor season would not bring so many football fans so much glee.
  2. Pats always seem to have at least one stinker. They make sure to do it in the regular season as opposed to the playoff's.
  3. I went against my preseason picks yesterday and got burned. As of the pre-season: @Browns - L @Dolphins - W Broncos - W @Coyboys - L Ravens - L @Steelers - L @Patriots - L Jets - W
  4. I'm not taking the 49ers seriously yet. I think the Saints are the favorite in the NFC.
  5. A personal threat? Plus that was the dog I think. Edna was on top of the car...
  6. They have the lowest point total for one of the "good teams", and have struggled in every game, and many of the games have been against bad teams. I don't think most fans just look at the record as the totality of the "ride". It's akin to enjoying the Sabres ride last season, you kind of knew it was a faux-ride.
  7. If I was the owner I'd clean house now, however if I was the owner I would not have hired Gase & Williams, and then allowed Gase to force out my GM. It just started off all wrong.
  8. They need to get better if they want to compete for a championship.
  9. You don't think there is any other data to look at besides that? Like performance history in nationally televised games, point differential, market size, etc? I bet there is quite the formula used to determine so far ahead what games will be flexed. TV revenue is a big deal for the NFL.
  10. This is a team that definitely has to concentrate on one game at a time, every game they seem to struggle in one major area or another.
  11. No, I don't think the powers at be would make that call with 4 games to go before they play. I don't think the Bills are reliable enough to make that call.
  12. Could be a "hornets nest"/"buzzsaw" opponent next week. However, it could also be a "Bickering Browns" opponent, this one is hard to put a finger on as it should be an easy win for a 6-2 team.
  13. I read these "what did we learn" on NFL.com every Monday morning. When they talk about the Bills, there is always a line or two of disrespect after a win, and I can never seem to argue against them.
  14. You could, but in the eyes of the national media, you don't think they view those teams differently, as in given the benefit of the doubt? Bills needed to beat the Pats like the Ravens just did if they wanted national respect.
  15. They don't beat bad teams convincingly, and they don't beat good teams at all.
  16. No, I'm pointing out why the national media thinks the way the do about the Bills.
  17. Jackson is doing what Allen failed to do, not look like a fool against the Pats.
  18. While his comp% is not great and still a concern, it's better than I expected. If he finishes the season above 60% that's more progress than anyone would have expected. Too bad he lost the long ball along the way.
