  1. I dunno, many fans myself included saw that Jones was an issue right from the start. I am guessing that front office personnel saw the same thing, they were just reluctant to act because he was one of their picks, vs. say Watkins, they didn't bat an eye when they wanted to make a change there.
  2. Look how long they belabored the Zay Jones debacle of a pick, if they were not the ones who selected him, he'd have been gone a lot sooner. I don't trust that they would be able to face the facts Allen isn't cutting it until it's way past due to make a change, especially at that position.
  3. Not at this point in time, but they should not be closed off to the idea if he doesn't seriously improve by this time next season. The days of a GM and HC sticking with the QB they drafted until the wheels come off needs to end, a lot of other talent on the team is wasted in the meantime.
  4. Just because a team makes a player the #7th pick, doesn't mean that player is worthy of that draft status, and hanging on too long just wastes guys like Hyde & Poyer.
  5. I would question why they traded back from the mid teens to 32 with the Patriots.
  6. Allen has big hands = no dome required, right?
  7. This is why he's not a good head coach. He obviously doesn't have a good grasp on what constitutes high quality offensive coaching.
  8. That's his fault, he's the one hiring the offensive coaches.
  9. He's just not a good head coach. He's out-coached and blown out far too often.
  10. The way this team has played this season, I'm not sure I am supposed to be optimistic? This is why just stating "5-1" doesn't work, that's ignoring the quality of opponents beaten, like putting your fingers in your ears etc. I guess ultimately they are what they are when all is said and done, fan optimism/pessimism will play no role. A second half season collapse is what this franchise has been known for, so I guess my "prediction" is predicated on past seasons, which should have no bearing on this season, yet the pattern has repeated quite frequently throughout recent history, so the odds are good they will collapse. If they do collapse, I'd be surprised if McDermott survives.
  11. Yes, this is why I've never liked McDermott. He also has a lot of blowout losses. He's not a good coach, he's coaching like it's the 1980's. Not only are they only beating bad teams, they have a hard time doing that, needing 4th qtr comebacks etc. IMO they will lose this Redskins game and the slump is officially on, they will finish ~7-9.
  12. It's 3, I guess it just feels like McDermott has been here 4 years already.
  13. How is it trolling? It's more proving a point (Who have they beaten?). And I didn't know finding a thread from two days ago is considered "digging up"...
  14. The issue is they can only play that way against bad teams...
  15. Bills are not catching the Pats, nor are they any real competition to the Pats. The Pats always have a "clunker" game at the start of a season, the Bills game was that clunker, and they still won it. I'd like to see the Browns keep losing due to all the silly moneyball hype.
  16. I would say don't reach for an aging oft injured vet.
