Dwayne Haskins’ father is a strange dude
The Senator replied to Reed83HOF's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not arguing, Yolo, not at all. I agree with you. I just found it odd that, of all the NFL QBs on that list, the only one he highlited was the GOAT. Maybe I missed his point. I do that sometimes. I’m a huge Buckeyes fan. I wish Haskins all the best in the NFL, and hope he becomes the league’s second best QB. . -
Last time my dad was there, he came back with a suitcase full of very good (and very strong) Polish booze that he somehow managed to sneak thru customs. I’ll see what I can bring back for the Bills home opener - last time I did a bowling ball shot, it was Wisniowka (cherry vodka - they have the 150-proof stuff in the old country). .

The Senator replied to Reed83HOF's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Fair enough, but there are at least a half dozen Michigan QBs on that list that enjoyed at least a small modicum of success, or at least some longevity, in the NFL. Other than Art Schlichter, which OSU QBs have lasted the longest? . -
Am visiting Poland with my 92 year old dad in June. He wants to visit his birth place one last time. We’ll be in the Krakow/Rzeszow region, southeastern part of the country - doubt we’ll make it as far north as Gugny. .

Or maybe some quiche? (JK, I enjoy a nice big rich Chardonnay in the summer - Chalk Hill or Grgich, but am always open to new wine adventures.) .

White wine is for women, and sensitive Alan Alda types ? .

Why do people at NFLN take Cynthia Frelund seriously?

What???? Without the blonde hair, she turns into a white-haired 51 year-old gay dude? -

Did you just compare Dwayne Haskins with the GOAT? ? . -

Or maybe just grow longer fingernails? . -
Is there a Eric Moulds our there in the draft?
The Senator replied to Tipster19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Agree. I have no problem with Harry, but don’t think he’ll be there at #40. Plus, I think AJ Brown might be a better fit. JMO. Beane’s gonna have to maneuver to get either one. The 49ers are high on Brown. . -

Not for nothing, but Buckeyes QBs don’t have a history of success in the NFL. Why, I don’t know, but they don’t. That said, I was bummed when the Bills traded Cardale Jones. Thought we should have at least signed him to the practice squad. . -
What are your plans for watching the draft?
The Senator replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yes, but it was the Krupnik that killed me! . -
There’s nothing I don’t like about Christian Wilkins, just not at #9. .

9th and Dawkins for 5th - who says no?
The Senator replied to d_wag's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Absolutely no. If you’re moving up to 5th you’re obviously not drafting Jonah Williams, so all you achieve is creating a big hole in the O-line and dumping a promising young guy who makes $845K this season, who you already know, for an unknown rookie. In a draft rich with DT talent. . -

Will be at my local sports bar, having some gumbo, wings, and pizza. . -

Strange, I thought Dion Dawkins was under contract thru 2020. In fact, I’m sure he is. . -
Who has never watched game of thrones?
The Senator replied to mead107's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Thanks - I used to be a member, but haven’t visited the history museum in quite a while (I still call it by it’s old name -The Buffalo and Erie County Historical Society!). Sounds like I’m due - maybe I’ll wander down this afternoon. . -

The Senator replied to mead107's topic in Off the Wall Archives
I watch Meet The Press religiously, mostly, these days, in homage to Tim Russert and his blatant overt worship of Buffalo and the Bills. I watch the other news programs, and lots of all the news channels, because I want to know what’s going on in our country and in the world, and how it is perceived from all points of view. I have absolutely no interest in how little America’s best talent some screeching teenager has, nor how poorly America’s worst dancer can’t dance, nor America’s most moronic home videos. IMHO, we grant the networks the airwaves for free, we deserve much more in return than infomercials and idiot game shows/America has no talent shows. Soon enough, we’ll all have our own talk show. A video game turned hit TY show? Come on. As always, JMO. . -
Why do people at NFLN take Cynthia Frelund seriously?
The Senator replied to D521646's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Oh come on now, all of us! Mock drafts and speculation/prognostication are all just so much pre-draft fun for all of us. As soon as the first player gets picked on Thursday nite, everything changes and it gets real. Can’t wait for Thursday. (And leave Cynthia Frelund alone!!! ? ) . -
Of course. The Zubaz jacket is as hallowed here as the green jacket at Augusta, or smoking jacket for hosting SNL! I’m sure SDS will be sending a banquet invite shortly ?

Congrats, Friend, and Cheers! ? At 5,000 I think you get a 100% polyester blazer. (At 10,000, it’s a Timex.) Long may you run! ? .
