Asante Samuel Jr, cleared to play, talking to teams
Simon replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah, they're 5 deep at CB but now have real needs up front, imo. -
Cowboys vs Cardinals on MNF: No Bills talk please!

You should tell them that you're sorry but you're currently in negotiations with your wife about their bill and you'll resume providing that service as soon as you've reached an agreement. -
Who in the hell is conditioning these players?

Don't make me tell Ed Oliver where you live. -

C'mon, give yourself some credit. It's not that little! -
Bills restructure Taron Johnson creating 1.75 million in cap space

We also have too many Dorians. We need to get back to the days where we had 6-7 Bills. -
Cowboys vs Cardinals on MNF: No Bills talk please!
Simon replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
From my perspective, the only time we'll light the lamp for Bills talk is if the Chiefs or Ravens are playing in primetime. There's just too much history (and future) there to try and stifle those kinds of comments/comparisons. -

Counting on that creep for anything is fool's gold.

I bet you that oblique injury is still messing with him a bit also.
-
I think he meant physically.
-
He was outstanding yesterday. Really got after it. 👍 I said the same thing in the game thread. That game was way too big for him and I was hoping the Bills could find a way to manipulate him off the field in the 2nd half. With too many injuries on D, it created a ripple effect and they were forced to rely on their patchwork dime packages more than they wanted, imo.

He goes full Mahomes about 2:20 in.....
-
That taper on both ends still looks sort of unhealthy.
-
I cannot believe Mahomes didn't bruise the back of his brain. Then he got up and immediately dropped one in a shoebox for 25 down the sideline. I hope the time he's about to spend in and out of a cold-assed tub starts making that body skittish on weekends.

I didn't notice this til seeing this replay but I love the fact that Hancock's unconscious instinct is to push Bosa into Mahomes so he gets a piece too.
-
The worst ball he threw all night might have been the TD to Kincaid
-
The preparation issue forced him into 2-3 over the course of both halves, but there's been so many of them that you're 100% correct that it's becoming a blur. And you can also add in yet another in the 2nd half where he insists on rescuing an opponent from themselves on a crucial down. The man is clearly a true and generous sportsman.

My mouth while the ball was in the air on the sideline one: Hohohoho, that's gotta be a flag My mind while the ball was in the air on the sideline one: <that might have been one of those that was a bargain for just 15 yards>
-
We've seen a lot of snarling and kvetching about Mahomes tendency to flirt with the sideline and mess with defenders to buy time or space. He messed with it it again today and Epenesa almost murdered him for it. I'm wondering if the only reason he didn't get flagged was because stripes are well aware of the issue and don't care for it either.

I have a hypothesis re: Allen that checks a couple boxes
Simon replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
He has been off on some reads. But it was a gag. -

There's just too much confusion out there at key moments. It's better with McD having the call sheet, but it's still not good enough to get us where we want to go, imo. The sooner they start committing to the younger guys to start and stay out there, the better off they're going to end up down the road.

11/2/25 GAMEDAY Bills vs Chiefs 4:30pm Post Game Thread
Simon replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
I agree with this, but I would change "The defense was coached well" to "The defense was called well". Because the problems we've seen with preparation under Babich have in no way whatsoever diminished. -
They are a patchwork mess right now and if the DL hadn't been repeatedly working over a weak KC OL I think they may have ended up in big trouble. My point is to address the lack of cohesion by committing to your ultimate starters now instead of continuing to juggle your way through it.
