  1. Mad respect for a man that sticks to his principles!
  2. I don't disagree with that at all; the guy is turning it over like a hotel waffle machine. I just wonder if it will hurt slightly less this week than it might down the road.
  3. Replay of yesterday's game currently scheduled to re-air this evening at 8:15 if anybody wants to catch it. 07:00 PM EST NFL GameDay Kickoff 08:15 PM EST Buffalo Bills at Pittsburgh Steelers 10:45 PM EST NFL Throwback
  4. They tend to get the ball out so fast that our pass rush might end up being irrelevant.
  5. I think this really isn't far from the truth. I am convinced he beat the absolute hell out of himself over the first couple weeks playing like a wildman, and was essentially a walking bruise for the following month. I also wouldn't be remotely surprised if he concussed himself in the Ravens game in run support, possibly more than once, and didn't tell anybody.
  6. I'm going to disagree with this. Allen has clearly worked on it and I think he's gotten very good it hitting those swings accurately and on time. He's holding 'backers with his eyes and waiting til the last second to commit and then hitting backs in stride with a perfect combination of velocity ( so the D can't recover) and touch (so Cook or Johnson have an easy catch) and accuracy (so they have the opportunity to get upfield fast and make hay). I don't know if there's anybody in the league throwing better to the flats than he is right now.
  7. I said I wanted to Jackson Hoss to get 50 snaps this weekend, but I didn't think they'd actually do it! Nice work, Coach 👍
  8. Well, not now. Geez, dude......
  9. It wasn't just those two. The Bills were throwing a variety of players at Watt all night long.
  10. I think it was Heyward still getting in Josh's grill.
  11. That might very well be. I thought he also looked better last week than he had since coming back and he still seems to be trending in the right direction. If they can stay healthy, Thompson and him could be a very serviceable pair of LB's in the base nickel.
  12. I used to have a coach who when he'd see that would yell "We got too many billy goats out here and not enough crabs !"
  13. You don't have to be playing well to be playing hard. They may not have started out executing well with a lot of new faces in new places, but there was no lack of effort that deserved to be called sleepwalking. They were well on their way to producing points on both of their first two drives until a pair of mental errors put them way behind the sticks.
  14. This is really out of character for him. He was probably pissed off because they were beating the snot out of them with the same sets and calls all day long and they couldn't do anything about it.
  15. He may have gotten them good and fired up, but to say that team was sleepwalking is both inaccurate and insulting.
  16. Then why would you say if he stays fully healthy?
  17. I said something in the game thread about wanting him off the roster because he's dumber than a chicken. I'd like to take this moment to apologize to chickens everywhere.
  18. Ummmm, he's already had about 3-4 documented injuries.
  19. He didn't touch the ball in teh 2nd qrtr and only ended up with 10 carries total. I actually thought he had gotten hurt when they stopped using him.
  20. This is total nonsense. The defense was absolutely bringing the lumber right from the get go and the offense was cramming the ball down the Steelers throat on both of the first two drives until more Alec Anderson mental errors put them way behind the sticks. That Sal fellow must have been watching the game on the radio as well.
  21. I'll bet my house it wasn't his "stomach" or he wouldn't have been that pissed.
  22. That can happen when you're averaging about 10 plays per possession.
  23. If they want to keep the ball for 40+ minutes and jam it down the Bengals throat, you'll get no complaints from me.
