When I was getting older I got into the habit of jumping on top of my own guys and trying to cover them up whenever any of them would recover a fumble. Some of them would be like "Man, what the hell are you doing?"; the smart ones would say "Thanks, dude 🤙"

That dude was so underrated by Bills fans. One of the angriest stretches I've ever had in this forum was when this fanbase started incessantly crapping down his neck when he suffered his first serious injury after having played so many years of ProBowl quality football for this team. One of my happiest stretches was when he came back and instantly, and I mean instantly, started just wrecking offenses. That was one of only two times I've ever gone into full "I told you ashholes!" mode around here.

The Schobel we saw playing with a lot more power later in his career might have been a good fit here. Although McDermott probably wouldn't have cared for the many times Schobel would have inevitably told him to ***** off.

I could see him transitioning later in his career like Aaron Schobel did and becoming even more of a power rusher.
