  1. The biggest problem with this offense so far is a combination of two factors working in concert to create one larger issue: 1) The OLine cannot sustain protection without help right now and 2) Daboll wants desperately to take advantage of Allen's arm to hit chunk plays You can work around either of those issues on its own, but when you combine them, things cannot work. Allen knows it too and he spent the entire first half with one eye on the defensive front; when Daboll adjusted downward in the 2nd half Allen instantly became more comfortable with the knowledge that he didn't have to hold the ball for longer than he was going to have. I don't know what went on between McDermott and Frazier this week, but Leslie absolutely threw every appliance in the kitchen at the Phish offense today. That was the greatest variety of defense calls I've seen the Bills run in forever. Huge props for an exposed secondary holding it all together and giving everybody a chance to cut loose up front. Speaking of the secondary, Dane Jackson played really, really well when he replaced Levi. He made at least 3-4 plays that Wallace never makes. I wonder if we've just witnessed a rejoined battle for the other starting corner spot. Pray for Milano's health every Sunday morning because he's in command out there right now. I didn't agree with the big extension because I didn't think he can stay healthy but I hope he continues to prove me a fool. This is a much better football team with Zach Moss involved in the game. He would have made a significant difference in a lot of down/distance situations against Pittsburgh last week. Ed Oliver just rode a quarter horse through Miami and did it in about four different styles. Feliciano was really bad again in the first half. He got a little better in teh second, but he's got to be flirting with his starting position at this point. I'd very much like to see what Spencer Brown could do to people at LG. Tremaine Edmunds is not terrible, but at this point he's not significantly better than Klein or maybe even Andre Smith. Mitch Morse has been the best player on the Bills OLine so far.
  2. I thought Star looked very solid, although they seemed to limit his snaps in the 2nd half. And the dropoff from Edmunds to Klein (or maybe even Smith) is probably negligible at this point.
  3. Agreed When Daboll stopped trying to push for longer-developing chunks in the 2nd half, Allen looked much more comfortable
  4. Hell yeah, getting hurt aint helpin nobody here
  5. never caem out after halftime being treated for cramps
  6. Dane Jackson has been very very good since he replaced Levi. Hmmmmmmmm......
  7. Hes still in there righ tnow Ands he's thrown for 380
  8. It's a combination of that and Daboll wanting to push the ball downfield for chunks when the OLine can't protect that long and Allen knows it
  9. That last move was just ferocious
  10. I know its hard to have that kind of discussion in a game thread so we'll see how it goes this week, but there's been a high volume of straight nonsense typed today.
  11. Is this thing over? Can I take the dog for a hike? Thumbs up or down?
  12. How would he have looked last week in a few of those short yardage situations against Pburgh? Way to keep trusting him, coach
  13. being treated for cramps in locker room Dont think he ever came out after halftime
  14. Another turnover (on downs) for Taron Johnson Holy schnikes!
  15. Ogbah has been everywhere; he's giving Williams fits
  16. Absolutely. And they've been running a lot of deep rotation the last couple series. Should be fresh up front right now.
  17. That even made my wife laugh, and she never pays attention to football
  18. Josh is going to go right after this ashhole, probably with Diggs
  19. Good adjustment from Daboll to quit trying to force slow developing routes that this OLine cant protect right now
  20. Are you Chicken Littles done now?
  21. Huge props to Leslie Frazier so far
