    45+yrds FG on bad grass can be dicey propositions and we didn't see what the Lions crappy K was doing pregame, so I don't think either of those calls was necessarily "wrong"

    In a dome on turf, it's probably 80% On that field, it's much lower. And the Lions convert a ton of first downs; 4th/2 is probably a 65%+ conversion rate for them

    The Oilers at least opened the 3rd with a pick 6. But their 3rd qrtr still ended up worse.

    He can certainly make it. But when the chances of converting are the same as the chances of making the kick, there is nothing wrong with going with the bigger upside

    There is guys slipping all over on that grass and coach watched the kicker pregame. The odds of picking up the first are probably equal to or better than the odds of him hitting the kick
