Agree to disagree. A difference make doesn’t have to touch the ball. That’s why DEs and CBs get paid so much. WRs are the over pay dujour, give it time, it will be figured out a guy that touches the ball less than 10 times a game isn’t worth it either, the elites at any position are worth better money, and CBs will be getting big money to shut down these good/not great 20M WRs.

Vs the guys we have now? I’d take a good rookie

If LB Devin Lloyd is available at Pick 25......
DCofNC replied to Special K's topic in The Stadium Wall
I wouldn’t be surprised if they trade up using Edmunds to get him. Edmunds is a mis-fit, would clear 12M in cap. Then you have your guy for the next 5 years at a reasonable price. Makes it easier to move around again next year. -
Knox is a rising star, this year will determine how big of a star people think he can be. He may get monster money, maybe just good money. I’d like him back, but money talks. Oliver, good player, not worth a monster deal though. We’ll see what this year says. Edmunds, I hope the dude gets PAID, by the Dolphins. Motor isn’t going to be big money. Poyer will be decided upon after the Edmunds decision is made, if he gets another couple years, Edmunds is gone. I like him, but she and body abuse is a question.. if he and Edmunds end up gone, won’t be shocked.

Source: Bills interested in Western Michigan WR Skyy Moore

I could see a trade back if you want him, but I doubt it. -
Diggs Extended 4 more years breaking news per WGR 550
DCofNC replied to BillsPride12's topic in The Stadium Wall
Willing to bet it’s much like I purposed, sure sounds like it, 70 M lower base rates and a big signing bonus, effectively a void last year. -
I think the most obvious thing to keep in mind is Dawkins is good, not great, but good is valuable in the NFL. He could be a trade target or just looking to shed big salaries as the Allen deal kicks in.

Jordan Poyer going into last year of his deal
DCofNC replied to Matt_In_NH's topic in The Stadium Wall
I’d hate to see him go, but I won’t be shocked if they move on. He is 30 and abused his body, we may have seen his best years already. I would not be opposed to a 3 year extension, moving a lot of his salary to a bonus this year, and adding more in signing bonus to it and trimming his cap hit down to call it 7M a year for the next 3 years if he would go for it, still gets paid and we keep a high performer on a reasonable deal. -
Let’s give Antonio Brown some Million Dollar love.

7 years ago, yep! Honestly, have to wonder if that hit didn’t really knock a screw loose. He was known for being a hard worker, not a diva, after Burfict knocked his head off, all sort of stuff came out shortly there after. Who knows if it was all just building or that was what did it. What a career he was in pace for, now I don’t think there’s anybody that will touch him. It’s a shame honestly. -
Beane is perfect with every decision, you blasphemous fool!

An Idea for a potential Bills draft trade down with Atlanta!
DCofNC replied to JaCrispy's topic in The Stadium Wall
If it means getting a new defensive backfield, I suppose it’s ok. -
I’m excited about Groot, Miller should be able to teach him some tricks and his presence will make Groots job easier.
-
I hope he stays out this year and goes there next year, they’ll ditch Tua, Brady will finally get hurt and they will have nothing again for years to come.

You are right on that, the question is, do you have to pay a QB or can you find a reasonable fit and keep rolling. Tannehill got paid for executing what Tenn wanted. Would Fitz have taken them just as far for 1/2, I would argue, yes. Could they have gone to a Ryan this year? Probably. The counter point is the Colts who keep searching for a guy to get it done. Anybody dumb enough to go w Wentz deserves the problems they had.

What non-QB has the highest trade value in the NFL?
DCofNC replied to FireChans's topic in The Stadium Wall
For me Parsons is the most valuable Non-QB in trade. He’s on another level and did it as a rookie, this is the first guy to be an honest to goodness comparison to LT since LT left the game and I dare say he might be better. On a rookie deal, that’s unrivaled. Chase and Jefferson are extremely valuable because of the insane contracts given to WR this year. -

Was worth a top 5 pick a year ago and put up massive numbers as a rookie, he’s got the credentials. -
I have been calling for the Bills to do it for 10 years, then they landed Allen and I still think it’s the way to go. Build the Rex Ryan “Bully”. Go Big on O, take advantage of the teams that got small and fast to counter the passing teams. Pound them into submission and torch them over the top. There’s never been a time that it made more sense. To an extent, that’s what Tenn and Indy have done, now imagine them with Josh at QB, good gawd. It’s what Carolina did when they went 15-1 with Tess Ginn as their best WR. NE is trying to do it, but they don’t have the deep threat. Side watch out for the Raiders if they get their run game rolling, they are built to beat pretty much anyone with that O. They should have great balance.

Simple solution, score more than the other team in regulation. And don’t let them move all the way down the field in 13 seconds.

NFL Teams mandated to hire minority coach as offensive assistant
DCofNC replied to UKBillFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Statistically speaking, women are far less likely to reach the top of a company than males. There’s any number of reasons that may be, but I’d say it’s fair to suggest there is a underlying bias in the world that plays out negatively for both women and minorities. -

All very fair. Not trying to be a wise guy, but in today’s climate, couldn’t one simply “identify” as a minority and it would stand?
