  1. You actually are a pretty good poster and Allen has a lot of BS said about him. But you just have too much bias the other way. Even posters saying he is elite but not at his best this year makes you go off on some EPA tangent or rant about the offensive line or the WR's. Below is what you feel we should say Josh is at his best. 8 out 11 games this year that is what his stat profile looks like. I'm very optimistic with what we saw last week. He is still one of the best, but your opinion loses validity if you can't view things both ways.
  2. You're basically insulting the guys because he asked a pretty legitimate question. You're so sensitive about anything to do with Josh it's hard to even have a logical conversation with you. You have eyes dude. He single handedly lost us the Jets game and probably at least one more if you're being honest. You will cling to EPA. When EPA doesn't fit your narrative it will be TD's. When TD's doesn't fit your narrative it will be other players. On it goes, the cycle of the insanity. The OP never said Josh wasn't an elite QB. Get off the horse.
  3. he has videos on youtube that get posted of his golf outings. I used to drink like he does. Not exactly hard to spot the type.
  4. They don't hit the course and shotgun beers as the status quo. Plenty of people in this world with self control. Nobody is going to pick a person who doesn't have that to lead an organization.
  5. I think 2021 was his ceiling (for now). He was nearly perfect in several games that year. He had a coordinator that understood what he needed to be successful. Defenses had yet to adjust to what we see now, so you got to see his full skill set on display. Teams didn't spy him all the time. They didn't slow rush him so he was able to escape a lot which opened his rushing and improvisation more. Things we just don't see nearly as often as teams have taken it away. I think a better question would be what would he need to do in order to be better. From my perspective the offensive system needs to be a better fit. Dabs was excellent at designing plays that helped Josh be deliberate with his decisions. His weapons need to be a better fit. He is made for a big body WR and we have never given him one. Somebody like a Courtland Sutton with a big catch radius. Then I think it's just about maturity and personal and mental growth. As a player and as a person. He appears to me to still be somewhat stuck in that college mindset. "let's get F'in wasted". You see it in his golf outings. All that is fine. But it speaks to what I'm saying. An extremely well adjusted person at the top of his craft is not doing those things. A CEO of a company does not ask that person to run his business. He see's it right away, that person just isn't ready yet.
  6. What a sad story. Congrats for overcoming the odds Jim.
  7. It's was suggested by a rugby expert to do something along these lines. Essentially go horizontal against the center and guards and just stack them up. The Chiefs actually lined up this way but they weren't able to execute it. I half way joked about rug pulling the line and getting a personnel foul, but I actually think those concept have some merit. Whatever you do you need to figure out how to introduce some doubt or some new variable into the Eagles. It could be a combination of several things. Maybe on the first attempt you "accidentally" jump offside and drill Kelsey and Hurts. Then maybe on the 2nd attempt you take a quick back step and rug pull them. Then maybe you incorporate the sideways cut against the center and guard. Whatever you do I think you want to get Philadelphia thinking twice that they can just go low and drive. Get them thinking about making some business decisions. Don't make it easy.
  8. It would be funny if we rug pulled them at the last second. Those lineman would just fall over.
  9. Pittsburgh is actually ranked 10th in weighted DVOA. So while they have had plenty of luck early in the year, that ranking will usually be enough to get you in as a legit playoff team. Stroud and Houston rank 12th in weighted DVOA. The INT monster finally got him last week. You have to figure at some point he will cool down. All three of these teams have cake schedules. But we don't need a ton of help. The normal NFL variance should be enough as long we take care of business.
  10. If they want to pull that on the 1 yard line it would be worth of few personal fouls. Just sayin.
  11. 😀 It has broken many hands! That's exactly what I thought when he did it.
  12. I liked Kelce punching the turf after the fumble
  13. So sick of seeing that 13 seconds coverage. We have signifgantly better WR's than KC. I even think our defense will match them long term.
  14. Jesus it hit his hands
  15. Is this where the holding call comes?
  16. As much as it annoys me when people cover for Josh by saying all offenses suck this year, no question. You don’t see that dominant squad. This drive would have been a guaranteed 6 in years past. Now it’s less than 50% in my opinion
  17. My biggest takeaway is we need to rush with discipline against both these guys which is something we usually suck at.
  18. I hope Joseph crotch slams Hurts
  19. We will sweep Philadelphia and KC. Babe Ruthing this now.
  20. I don’t like the play because it takes excitement out of the game. It surprises me the NFL would keep allowing it given they usually will air on the side of entertainment value.
  21. Yup and really, I don’t know why he would catch on as a back up. Very few people are given this much time to develop and I don’t know if he’s a really studious type or guy who will go out of his way to help whoever is playing or coming up. We will see.
  22. What is always impressive about KC is they can seemingly turn on the run game on offense and run defense at will. Every year they suck in both areas and every big game they don't.
  23. I love making Philly's but I'm going to be in Ohio. Nothing wrong with Jersey Mikes!
  24. What's even crazier to me... Imagine if we said in the offseason that AJE would break out. Bernard would perform as well as Edmunds or better. Benford would turn into a solid starter. Shakir would develop as a slot. Cook would be top 3 in the NFL in rushing. Kincaid would be one of our leading receivers. O'Cyrus would perform above the level of a rookie. Ed would play at an All Pro level. How on earth would that not equal Super Bowl level trajectory for the team? Yet, here we are. Next few weeks could get really interesting if we can build off the Jets game.
