  1. It will never end with Iran with Khamenei in power. What does Trump think? They will negotiate now? That regime would make Hitler blush. They regularly kill there own people for showing any western principles. This won’t end quickly or peacefully and to think they won’t at least get a few wins in is naive at best.
  2. Except before the revolution Iran was adopting a western culture. I know it wasn’t your post but I swear, 9 out of 10 Americans have literally no f’n clue about Iran. Most the people there would prefer a democratic society. They’re are largely forward and liberal people under a backwards regime. These events have truly put a spotlight on how f’n dumb this country is.
  3. It was convenient to think you could just neutralize the nuclear threat and walk away.
  4. Remember a time when it mattered when the president called an emergency statement to the American people. When it mattered what was said? I miss those days.
  5. You didn’t vote for this. Nobody would have. This entire presidency is what will keep the son of a multi millionaire relevant in the media. That’s what his entire life has been about. That’s what this is about. Sorry if I think global politics shouldn’t have a headline every other day. This will never end with the regime in place.
  6. Don’t pretend like you know what erudite means. Sorry, Trump ran on ensuring Iran doesn’t have nuclear capability and using military force if required. You MAGA are such inbreds.
  7. We have drinks here in the land of immigrants and I can assure you all is just lovely.
  8. He would be the weakest player on any poker game *10. If the target doesn’t have ability to respond aggressively he will be be aggressive. If the target can respond aggressively he will bluff. Just keep repeating this until the end of time.
  9. In my first half a year, I will increase prices, disrupt the markets, bomb the Middle East, and disrupt international relations. My minions will follow because that’s all they can do.
  10. Stunning. A guy whose ego keeps getting flicked over inaction overcorrects.
  11. As I said before, the flick to his ego over not following thru would create an over correction . We aren’t even half a year into this. He tanked the market, destroyed global confidence in the US, and now is engaging military in the Middle East. Nobody would have voted for this. Nobody wants this much uncertainty in the world. The hard left was never right. But defending this is a complete joke.
  12. I totally agree with this and would generally rank our ability to get wins without Josh lower than most. But a McD team will always be + in the turnover differential and I think that puts you in the hunt for a wild card most years.
  13. Haven’t loved him and the wizard of Oz look in the past, but I really didn’t see him in this setting before. It was a great watch.
  14. You sound like a guy that's fun at a party
  15. Shai’s game is a Jordan light with his ability to score in the midrange and get to the rim. Then Williams has some Pippen vibes at times. But OKC just isn’t very likable. I love this Pacers team. They really blew a huge upset chance with the game 4 loss. But here we are. They can still do it. Tall task, it seems like both teams defenses are feeding off the home crowd. I think Pacers have led for something like 3 minutes on the road the whole series? It’s been a great series though. This level of defense is 90’s like and so enjoyable. I hope the Pacers can pull it out. TJ McConnell has been insanely impressive. Siakem as well. Toppin has really helped when he’s been on. OKC just looked asleep tonight. They feed off those fans. It’s a home series it seems. I expect them to close it out. Congrats to the Pacers either way. Can’t wait for game 7!
  16. This administration can’t hit its immigration goals without racial profiling or violating the rights of American citizens. It’s just not possible. You don’t need to be a bleeding heart liberal to see why that is concerning.
  17. Nothing I said was related to Trump. I understand the complication of it. The most was directed at the poster.
  18. I’ll answer your questions, but I’m genuinely curious what you think SHOULD happen. How should Iran be treated when it comes to the nuclear threat, regardless of how close they are to building a bomb? What is a reasonable expectation for how a neighboring country should respond to a regime that threatens its existence and actively funds and arms violent proxies surrounding it? And how should allies of that country respond, especially if they claim to share its security concerns? I understand the hesitation. I can even agree that Iran might not be on the verge of weaponization, and that ultimately, meaningful change within Iran has to come from its own people. But at some point, doesn’t the world have to confront the fact that a regime with deep connections to terrorism is becoming increasingly nuclear capable? To me, this was always going to be a ***** sandwich. Maybe it did not have to be dealt with right now, but it was always going to come to a head eventually. So the real question is not whether to deal with it but how and when. The longer it is delayed, the more dangerous and unstable it becomes. There was never going to be a clean or comfortable moment to handle this. Someone was always going to have to take the first bite. The only question is whether it is done recklessly and alone, or strategically and with collective responsibility. I still don't know what is the best answer is, but what I'm reading here is a lot of people that agree or don't agree but neither side comes up up with a solution to deal with the underlying issues of either position they want to take. You seem to have a high amount of knowledge of the region so what would be your strategy here?
  19. https://www.gelliottmorris.com/p/data How about we look at 69 polls by month and see how many had his approval rating over 50. February 23 of 52= 44.23% March 10 of 52 = 19.23% April 1 of 59 = 1.69% May 2 of 39 = 5.12% June 4 of 27 = 14.81% Then how many times out of the 246 separate polls since February had an approval at 56% or higher. 2 If you want a flat Earth you can find something to back it up. That's the world we live in.
  20. That would be so hard! They go hand in hand. The non alcoholic stuff isn't horrible, just doesn't feel the same obviously.
  21. Ya, I have read a few of his takes, premium quality. Hope all is well!
  22. About as perfectly said on all fronts as one could.
