As much money as Poyer and Hyde probably want, if I were Beane, I would move on from both safeties. They both are on the wrong side of 30. If they keep playing, with age, more and more injuries will become the norm. I appreciate what they’ve both done here, but we want nothing short of a Super Bowl win and having two aging injury riddled safeties isn’t going to cut it. That’s life in the business world. Nothing personal. The players know this.

Hoping Hamlin or Johnson can step in and take over the position permanently. I have doubts the Bills would really want Hyde to return next year. Two neck injuries in his career is a good reason to move on from Hyde.

I think we may be giving the dolphins to much respect. For the first one and three quarters they played so far they look like crap. If it wasn’t for a total meltdown by the Ravens they would have lost. I’m still picking them to win by at least two touchdowns by the end.
