    Agreed. I see Brodie going after another Of, 2b, and rp. The Mets may start the season a different team. They are playing with a lot of emotion right now and some of these guys have to know this is it. Yeah. I didn't like the Cano deal...but even so, I thought he would have done better. Injuries did not help.

    In Chicago where I now live, the locals refer to Allen as a "Gunslinger." When I ask them to elaborate on that they just say the kid has a rocket arm. I want to hear more about him being a complete quarterback. Its coming!

    Well, even if they don't battle back with 8 to go, the Mets will be back fully healthy next year. I like the young nucleus. Have fun at Citi Field, go Polar Bear and the entire team of amazins!

    I love this from Minshew. "Playing football is fun man, and getting paid for it is really cool." I like Minshew's attitude. Maybe we be shouldn't take life so seriously!

    Beat them at their own game in the regular season. It would be unfinished business and there would be no doubt. It sounds short sighted and takes away from the primary objective of the playoffs, but it would be sweet.
