What's up with J Taylor? Medical?
Spread offense making it harder for OT to transition or project to NFL . Jhonas played traditional offense

Wow. Green Bay is puking all over this draft. Undersized DE - too small to play DE and too big for OLB. S too small to play at the LOS. Aaron's text messages about the WR and OL must not be getting through

Packers just traded with Seattle. I think it will be Dillard here

Wow OT has fallen hard in the NFL. So many spread offenses. The only LT taken so far is from one of the few teams that still plays a traditional offense most fo the time

dam Broncos

Go get Fant, Dillard, Sweat, or Taylor.

Oakland at 24 scares me.

Target pick 21 from Seattle. If Sweat is gone by then they will want to trade down. Get Fant, Dillard, or Taylor at 21
-
Just saw Gary to Green Bay. Wow that is awful with Sweat available or two of the top three OT's. Big time reach and no help for Rodgers
-
Usually I loathe trading up, but this time I would for Fant or Taylor if they are still there at 25
-
Please get Fant before he is paired with Brady

I will go on record and say I would have gone OT. But I'm ok with Oliver.
It will be interesting to see if they fielded any offers.

he looks a lot like Aaron Donald to me. Not super big but thick with great quickness and great first step.
Interesting. At first I was going to say you are nuts. But then I checked the stats. Their listed weights are the same. Oliver is 2 inches taller. Donald looks much thicker that Oliver especially in the shoulders and arms. Somehow I think Oliver is closer to 270-275 when playing but bulked up for the combine and Donald is closer to 295 now.
But if Oliver is 3/4th the player DOnlad is he will be a force.

Oliver was thought of as the top player in the draft before the season started. It’s a great outcome. Very happy Beane didn’t panic and let the board come to him.
And how often does the top player rated the year before the draft pan out.....

Holy ***** what is in the water in Oakland

Ok let me be the first.
Fire Beane if he trades to #3 for a DT

Williams, Oliver and Simmons are all better IMO. We have guys that can pressure the edge and cant get home and that is because outside pressure doesnt really collapse the pocket. Interior penetration collapses the pocket.
McD defense doesn't call for penetrating tackles.
We have one player that can rush from the outside and he is 31 and on final year of his contract.
Allen is a great edge rusher and would make a far greater impact than a 3 technique DT

There no way on Gods green earth that Beane takes Jonah over Oliver/ Hock. Not happening!
Thus my point, if it happened almost everyone on this board goes nuts.

Joe Thomas never even made the playoffs.Orlando Pace
Jonathan Ogden
Walter Jones played in SB stolen by the refs from Seattle

Please God no. 9 to 3 would cost a mint. And there will be plenty of DTs to choose from at 9 or later.
Now if they took Allen at 3....well I might be down with that

Jonah Williams will never be a starting LT in the NFL, let alone an All Pro. All Pro Guard?, I could maybe see that.
Why?

Good point. I'm thinking more in the moment than in the future

How would this disappoint?
He’s who I’d like to see us get.
Passing on both Oliver and Hockenson in my scenario would disappoint most if not all on this board in some manner. Many think one or both will be gone by 9, but in my scenario (guess) both are still there at 9. Many have said Oliver is their guy and I and others covet a star TE.
I just have to believe McBeane is going to do everything to protect Josh. He is their future. They have added a ton of experience at RB and a bunch of bodies to the OL already that on paper appears to be a significant upgrade from 2018. I think they don’t stop and they add Jonah who can push for a starting job right away.
Again I would go TE but they can address TE in the second round.

100000% agree. In the past, we never looked ahead, we went for Edmunds via last year because they knew this draft was thin at LB and he was a highly rated talent who was falling.
I do expect a TE in this draft I am thinking Jace is who we are looking at, he has time to groom and grow behind Kroft while we go after the talent on the lines in 1/2. I think WR is a consideration, but it is going to be weighted against the line talent. JMO
Huh? White and Bush are just as good as Smith, Edmunds and Vander Esch.

1. Arizona - Murray
2. Raiders - Trade with San Francisco Bosa
3. NY Jets - Allen
4. San Francisco - Quinnen Williams
5. Tampa Bay - White
6. NY Giants - Sweat - this is my most unsure pick. Sweat could go as high as 5 and fall as low as 25
7. Jacksonville - Taylor
8. Detroit - Bush
9. Buffalo - Jonah Williams
This is what I think will happen not what I would do if I was GM for most of these clubs. I think Beane tries to trade down but can't find any suitors. I believe McDermott does not want an undersized Oliver at DT that argued with his coach. I think Dawkins took a step back in both run and pass blocking last year and Nsekhe is at best a one year retread rental at RT. I believe Beane would be happy landing Taylor, Williams, or Dillard but loathes to do so at #9. Lastly, while I would take Hockenson or Fant at #9, I think the board is probably correct in that teams just don't put first round grades on TE's that often and Beane won't either. With the top 7 defenders off the board, Beane albeit reluctantly takes a future All-Pro LT.

No he shouldn't. For short term players, Antione Winfield, Pat Williams, Takeo Spikes, Lee Evans, Fred Jackson, and Bryce Paup had better Bills careers.
Kyle of course will be on the wall.
I'd replace Talley with several other Bills - Schobel, Reuben Brown, and Moulds in that order.
