    I was hoping this game would remain competitive through the first half, but I don't think we are going to get there.

    The white portion of these LA uniforms is called "bone" and is supposed to be an off-white color. They were under attack b/c some said they basically look like unwashed laundry on TV. But they look really bright and white to me! Pretty much normal! Does anyone see them as dingy grayish white?

    Everybody on the NBC pre-game team is taking the Rams. No one taking Chicago. It's my favorite of the elite mega stadiums.

    They'll be formidable without Tomlin and Ben, too! They are one of the more solid major league franchises in North American sports.

    I saw the whole thing; I thought Mac had a great game for his first ever start. He was distributing the ball all over to like 8 receivers, using the TEs, got a TD, no turnovers... He's an immediate upgrade over Cam. Is he the long term solution at QB for NE? Probably not, but he's not bad.

    And Tua looked about the same. He's just too limited a player to be taken seriously at QB. I don't think the game in Miami will be easy at all, but we should have good bounce back day.

    LOL see my other post on this. Just a horrid decision. At first I thought he was going to throw it way out of bounds and I was thinking "that's a great play to avoid the sack" and then I saw that he threw it in bounds. Wow.

    Tua just threw up a horrible pass while running around for his life 15 yards in the backfield. INT NE! Terrible decision from Tua, even if it did bounce off the hands of 2 of his receivers.

    At Miami next week is not going to be a "very easy" game at all, especially with the heat and humidity. Against WFT? Yes, that should be easy. Not sure about Texans. I like our odds but not what I'd call very easy either.

    Pats have definitely improved at the QB position. Not sure if that's b/c Jones is good; might be b/c Cam is god awful. 17-13 Miami now.

    Just ran over to Netflix and watched the trailer for this. Now on my short list of stuff to watch!

    Because McD hasn't figured out that first downs and points count just as much in the first quarter as they do in the fourth! He's an old school sort of coach, despite his relatively young age.

    To the OP: you are forgetting we are coached by a HC who makes important call decisions on factors like "wanting to fire the team up at the time" as he said after one game last year. Don't think he knows what percentages are.

    Tua just made a gorgeous long throw for a sure TD that was batted down by Mills in the end zone. Great throw and great defensive play.
