There's a tweet out there from someone saying "This is one of the worst games I have EVER seen that involved BOTH starting quarterbacks, an NO bad weather." Think about that! It's a fair statement. No backups, lovely weather...just terrible football!

He was on air with Schopp and Bulldog mentioning this. The emphasis of the book is on how he dealt with the transition from playing career to retirement. He mentions a lot of the mentor type people who have played a role in his life and how they were helpful in transitioning to "regular life" or whatever. He said there is SOME Bills stuff in it and some "good story" stuff, but that is not the focus of the book.

Woman in crowd; "F-ING KIDDING ME!" HERBSTREIT: LAUGHS
-
6s are wild! We got us a tie ballgame!
-
Did you hear that? Al says "This game is the 3rd lowest points scored in first half this season." Herbstreit says " THIRD?!?!?!" As if to say "You mean to tell me there have been TWO football games this year that were worse than that ***** show?"'
-
It seemed sexier when Charissa Thompson said that.
-
Commercial...the game is just SO SLOW.... 6-3 barn burner.
-
It never gets old!
-
More "flat" I'd say.
-
7th punt in the game...crowd getting restless. LOL!

Serious question: when was the last good, exciting football game you saw that involved the Chicago Bears? They are like a guarantee the game will be horrible.

It was almost like he wanted to throw to the defender. He was right in front of him and he still threw.

So I literally just sat down to the game after doing some work, and I was going to ask "What have I missed?" I feel like I don't have to. 😂

Whenever you hear only side of a story like this, I often wonder what the other side of the story is, and if the version we are hearing is actually the "right" one. Don't get me wrong mrags, I'll side with you on this one. But I just wonder about some of these. Some fans out there are freaking crazy, really weird, or just abnormal people, and I can see a famous person trying to get far away from them once they catch a whiff of it! I'm with the famous person in that situation. Now, if a fan is polite and straight forward, but the famous person is just an a-hole, well, that's different. We heard that story up-thread about Nate Odomes shafting a kid 3 times inside a half hour! Hard to think the kid was the wrong party in that exchange!

I literally just tuned into them, and slid the thing at the website to go back in time to the start of the show. The first thing I heard was Schopp saying "I ran and bet the under yesterday." True story; guy cannot keep himself from discussing gambling topics for more than 10 minutes. 😂

My good friend's father used to have a pair of season tickets right across the aisle and like 1 row down from Kent Hull and Will Wolford...in the old Aud for Sabres games. I saw them more than once when my friend's dad couldn't go and I got the ticket instead. What I remember is how huge they both looked and how they literally did not fit in the little seats...and their knees were seemingly up around their chins as they sat that watching hockey. Their bodies were just out of scale to the seats. Never said anything to them, but they looked like nice guys, always minded their own business. I think they were genuinely fascinated by hockey and trying to learn the sport.

Week 5: Steelers vs Bills TV map; Blue on Blue expected

I forgot about the damned Fish game! That's the game in my area...will have to resort to other measures to watch. -
The Westworld theme is cool and kind of undervalued, I think. This is a cool one you may not be familiar with. It grows on you more with each listening. "THE WHITE LOTUS" from HBO.

Listen to it again; what do you think he's talking about!? LOL

I would phrase it in a slightly different way. What do ALL NFL rosters have in common? They are all FILLED with athletic super-freaks who were college football phenoms, at least for the most part. The actual talent gap from player to player, roster to roster, and team to team is not that great, because it can't be. At the very very tip of the totem pole, there is only so much room for "good, better, best." It's all about the same. Most games are decided by 3 or 4 or 5 key plays, in which 1 team did something WRONG...not who did what right. This is the parity they used to talk about dreaming of in the 1980s and 1990s. It is what it is, and it's not going back to the old days.
