    I think Kincaid’s availability has to be playing a role in the Vegas spread. The line dropped 2 points (towards the Steelers). our best hope is he’s playing otherwise our only advantage is extra rest and JA

    Supposedly, they’re leaving josh to deal with a free rusher by design. So if dudes don’t become open immediately, we’re kinda screwed. The people we signed can’t get open immediately. It’s not them it’s us.

    Adding fat is what you’re talking about, which has its merits, but adding weight isn’t always a net positive. You can’t legitimately add 10, 15, 20 pounds of lean muscle to a guy who’s been bulking lean more than 10 months

    I get that but adding 20+ of rip isn’t a reality. Do you want to time travel and have him gain mass at a younger age or do you want him to just add weight now, I.e. be fatter?

    He’s not a problem, he’s just making the most money on an underperforming defense. We have at least 5 of these types of players. Guys making B+ or better money and not showing up on the stat sheet. this isn’t one man’s problem (player wise) which means it’s someone else’s (coaching or management)

    Greg is going to be a whipping boy because the Bills’ defense hasn’t produced numbers. Beyond that, they don’t win games unless the offense produces. They are mid at best.

    Regardless of rank, our defense is far from stout. If we swapped quarterbacks against Houston the final score is probably 40+ to <10. when our offense is struggling, we can’t rely on our defense to shut the other team down. Give us turnovers, give us field position, give a spark. They are not a strength.

    The Bills defense has all the components to hold on and pray. they occasionally make stops but it comes at a huge field position disadvantage.

    I’m no expert, the fix this team may need is an A+ coordinator (preferably 2) and McDermott ceding some control to one of them as assistant head coach. McDermott has the right work ethic but probably the wrong on-the-field-football philosophy. obviously an oversimplification, but dude plateaued years ago and needs to improve.
