  1. You don't think Boston fans have not gotten their pitchforks and torches out? In a humorous coincidence the last and exactly 100th page of their game thread of Patsfans.com has these beauties: "Blow it up Kraft" "Can we fire Bill now?" "On the bright side, we did not have to watch them lose in OT" "All of Belichick’s failures in one play!!! The most unclutch QB ever, trading a game changer like Chandler Jones for a bag of magic beans. Kraft should fire the entire coaching staff on the plane home" And no, I was not trolling their site
  2. Watching the Pats struggling every week, and doing Billsy things to ruin any chance at winning - been a long time coming. Feels like Christmas every week they lose in original ways.
  3. NE Game: That was a beautiful pass by Carr and that is a close call on the edge of the paint in the end zone. That above angle kind of sucks and all the other angles were behind the receiver - hard to reverse with just those angles.
  4. 81 from NE completely shoves a defender to the ground on his break in the EZ and no OPI. Then turns to the camera like he was so wronged for an Emmy. NE and Jones - not so good. 4th and goal going for it and Jones is giving his OC the business - again.
  5. Not sure many on this board support that narrative, but yeah - I am sure there will be some that will spin it that way. The Chiefs are beatable.
  6. Hate seeing Miami and NE still in the hunt for the Wild Card, but love seeing my Bills as the top seed.
  7. You have to be flipping kidding me... hate it when QBs run with the ball like they stole a purse. Secure it already.
  8. I can kind of get this take, but with how close the Jets and Miami have played us, I kind of like the idea of neither of them getting into the post season. Josh is NE's daddy so who cares about them.
  9. Texans had 48 spying Mahomes and he inexplicably takes himself out of the play leaving nothing but green behind him for Mahomes to run free. And awesome job Detroit!!
  10. I know right? Channeling his inner Knox on that play - hit him right in the hands and he was already thinking about turning up field before securing the catch.
  11. I do have to say that the Chiefs execute the shovel pass gap run up the middle so well it irritates me. Not even sure if most of those are even passes as they completed behind the LOS, but they just have an arsenal of those plays with enough variations out of those personnel sets and motions to make them tough to defend in short yardage situations. I am going to have to watch that play they did for the 2 point conversion again because it ended up as a walk in up the middle. Not ball-washing KC, I just like to dig into well-executed plays and I am curious about how they are able to execute them so effectively.
  12. CBS just had 2nd and 70 up on the screen for a second. Did anyone else see that in the Chiefs game. Awesome
  13. He is not that shabby in protecting Allen chipping and picking up the occasional blitz either. I like Motor, he is not going to break free and outrun the second level of defenders, but what he does do he does pretty well and as folks say - unselfish.
  14. I just think there are receivers that are more "catch with their hands" receivers and those are the only guys that can handle the kind of zip Allen and a few other QBs often put on the ball. For Allen it is all about finding receivers with great catch radius as his ball placement is not always spot on (for a lot of different reasons that are not all Allen before I suffer the slings and arrows), and who can handle the fast ball. That catch by Diggs last night where he reached and snagged that ball thrown behind him by the very tip of the ball with his hands shows just how talented a receover he is. Then again there a plenty of QBs with less arm out there that make a living out of floating well-timed softballs to areas their receivers can make a play on. Zay is probably fine playing with the right QB and gaining the confidence to become a more consistent player in this league and good for him.
  15. That should never have been thrown and seemed to hang up there forever... That kind of luck seems like the complete opposite of the luck we have with fumble bounces - how many of those this year that we have forced have bounced right back into the opponent's hands?
  16. They managed to hit on most of the defensive drafts though... I think the job is White's to lose at QB, pretty much when he kept playing when his ribs were crushed in Buffalo. He does not have a lot of games under his belt and looks like a QB you could build around with a solid defense.
  17. Alright Wilson! Air mails it right to a Detroit defender - that is what I like to see from our Jets.
  18. Sadly, I have no problems envisioning that scenario.
  19. Getting to play Houston... must be nice, but KC is making it look hard. Detroit keeps playing tough... not giving up a lot and the things they give up are usually contested. They are playing at a competitive level this season. Kudos to their coach for that course correction.
  20. I think it was the right decision because of how our defense was playing and because Miami has two really good deep threat receivers that can high point and catch contested balls. The commentators last night were surprised by the move so I am not sure it is what all players are coached to do. And one played the game. Then again it was Sanchez whose claim to fame is the butt fumble.
  21. I think some folks are confused that I am panning the decision. I am not. Just trying to think about what MAY have gone into that decision being made. Of course we don't know for sure unless McD actually came out and said something to clarify his thoughts or direction given on that series. I have not seen any consistency in this team's ability to break up the long passes ( think of all the 3rd and longs we surrender) and Miami has two solid burners with good hands. I factor leaving them time on the clock with that in mind too.
