  1. The offense alone that Cam played at Auburn was a one read, run first type that made him a project though. Would he be able to translate to pro style? His measurables and mechanics were always top notch and never questioned from what I can remember. Cam has been a winner everywhere
  2. I don't even know who this guy is? I'm a horrible fan.
  3. What the heck happened w/ Allen? He fits the "lack of production + physical skills" mold and was still unanimously viewed as a top 5 pick unlike a ton of QB's cut from the same cloth and yet they were all graded much lower. Bad pocket presence in college, accuracy was not good. Of course I support him 100% , but I've always wondered what made him any different than EJ Manuel in the eyes of the experts.
  4. Guys with TONS of production in college can also be project QB's in my opinion. Colt Brennan comes to mind. What about QB's that come from the projects. Do they count as project QBs?
  5. I'm actually arguing w/ another guy in a different thread about how we should of grabbed Moore over Anderson precisely because of all those beatings he threw the Bills. Tannehill worries me about as much as a common cold, Brady is Ebola. EDIT: You're right. I never knew Tanny started out as a quarterback. I always thought he was converted.
  6. You obviously missed all those Miami games where he surgically dissected the Bills defense like Drew Brees.
  7. This is the game that the Patriots ALWAYS win. The first quarter-of-the-season hot shot team comes into Foxborough and ends up getting beaten soundly. We've seen it every year, folks. I'll obviously be hoping KC can pull one out for the Bills sake, but my gut tells me NE takes care of business as they always do. One can only hope, but I doubt it.
  8. On one hand I don't want them to rush him, but on the other hand with Watson passing for 300+ yards in every game this season I think they're going to need him, although they did fare pretty well without Hyde last game. Texans are on a 2 game streak. I feel like the Bills can come in and beat them on the road if the defense keeps firing full speed. It'll be their statement to the NFL.
  9. 90% of this board all knew that the strength of this line was in run blocking. Why Daboll failed to take advantage of that until the 4th game is beyond me, but I'm just going to assume that there was a justified reason because he's paid to coach and I'm not. Regardless, they played fantastic especially on the last drive and this proves it. Good defense and running the ball with an occasional "chunk" play by Allen should be this teams MO. I mean some Superbowl teams of the past were built on this very same notion. (I'm not saying Buffalo is a Superbowl or even a playoff team, but it's a good recipe.) Croom is a surprisingly good blocker. I've been paying attention to him more and I think he's gonna end up replacing Clay in the long haul. Logan Thomas intrigues me as a project QB to tight end. He's the reverse Tannehill.
  10. Orchard then becomes a star like Mahomes. Somebody needs to be fired for this immediately. Heads need to roll
  11. This is what I try explaining to every moron on here when they say that we should tank this year. There's 52 other players on this roster and not just Josh Allen. Everyone's career is on the line every year and some every game. You don't play the game to lose.
  12. Being a perennial playoff team leads to attracting free agents and at cheaper prices which leads to superbowls.
  13. I have always been a bit of a homer, but I just feel something special really brewing with this defense. If the Bills don't stupidly trade McCoy and Daboll keeps leaning on the running backs then I think we can sneak in just like last year. I still voted for 2019-2020 though...
  14. This guy had one good year in Cleveland and has been hot garbage ever since. We should've went with Matt Moore.
  15. Do project quarterbacks work out? I mean you can add any QB drafted after the 3rd round with moderate-great success or QBs from small schools/run oriented college offenses to this list. That would take all night. Are we just talking about top 10 guys? Ryan Tannehill was drafted I think at 12 and he was a converted wide receiver. That's as raw as you can get. Cam Newton was another highly rated guy and a bit of a project.
  16. Hughes is our best defensive player right now as far as production goes. He's a phenomenal athlete so why not use him in different ways? We used Kyle Williams as a running back last season and that worked out pretty well. The defense is on fire so I guess it's been working.
  17. If you don't want the Bills to make the playoffs then you are NOT a real fan. Point blank period.
  18. It would really help if the Bills receivers could make routine catches and didn't have the highest drop rate in the NFL.
  19. We all knew there would be growing pains with Allen. Are you really that shocked? And like I said before when you have 48 runs versus 19 passes then it's pretty hard for the quarterback to amass gaudy stats. What did you draft Allen on your fantasy team?
