  1. Not as much as Bodine at center scared me last year tho!
  2. ^^^^Agreed--it's not so much that the med-evacs happened against the Pats, but that they happened in the 1st place, and to vital cogs in our playoffs or bust machinery! That's just another gift that keeps on giving. But, if there's one additional noticeable difference between this year's squad versus last, it's that Beane has diligently spent assets to acquire depth at multiple positions, much of which is now being tested more than we'd like, but could mean all the difference between another 6-10 campaign or 10-6, which many here, myself included, have predicted as min # of wins to expect. On a side note, we all know you're cool D2D. After all, your avatar is the epitome of coolness!
  3. D2D, if we can’t raise our expectations this year after such a prodigious offseason and hot start, and now visualize the team going 4-1 after this week, then when? I’m with you on this.
  4. Yay, a Friday funny!
  5. Well, that’s fitting since no one circles the wagons...oh never mind
  6. I’m rooting for Josh to get out of protocol
  7. Crikey! I’m not feeling this whatsoever. However, it’s only 3x in the current McD era, and all signs point to a weakening of Brady’s stranglehold on New Era, so there’s that...
  8. I get it--just wish he'd been a Bill that much sooner, is all. Great career!
  9. He should've been our kicker for XXV instead of XXVIII
  10. I bet no one here has ever scored 4 TD's for Polk High in a single game though! https://www.albundyquotes.com/blogs/news/183280839-best-moments-of-al-bundys-polk-high-pride
  11. Plus how many compensatory draft picks due to the other teams’ failure to gift said WRs by close of training camp?
  12. Just as easily as we could be 4-0 right now...see how that works?
  13. Not sure if already posted somewhere upthread, but I found this interesting from Peter King's column yesterday, discussing advances in concussion/head related trauma prevention that's coming to market soon--wish the Bills already had this! Excerpt below: https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2019/09/30/nfl-power-rankings-week-4-fmia-peter-king/ "4. I think this is the most interesting thing I learned this week: There’s a doctor in Florida who is working to develop a topical cream for football players to use pre-game to reduce the effects of head trauma during the game, and also a nasal spray to be used after a concussive blow, to lessen the length of time for recovery from a concussion. The doctor, Jake VanLandingham of Florida State, is in the trial phase with these medications. These medications wouldn’t be solely for football either—the military, with its history of concussive incidents in combat, is interested as well. “It would be good for football, and good for the military,” VanLandingham said. “But it’d also be good for the U.S. health-care industry. We could save billions in health-care costs.” The savings could come, VanLandingham thinks, if the recovery time for a concussion went from 10 or 12 days to five, which is his forecast with the nasal spray after a concussion is suffered … and, if the brain had been pre-treated with the trans-dermal cream on the side of the neck before a concussive blow, the effect of the hit would be lessened because a neurological anti-inflammatory had been used. “It’s like a brain shield,” VanLandingham said of the pre-game trans-dermal cream. He expects a couple of college football programs to be using some of the medication by 2020. This is one of the most hopeful things I’ve heard about concussion treatment in years."
  14. 1994 called, and wants its AOL dial up service bonus hours CD back.
  15. Listening to him tell their story right now, incredibly emotional, I can’t believe he’s even able to get through being on air right now...all the best wishes and prayers for healing for he and his wife right now.
  16. Hey, this made me chuckle--I'm glad I haven't completely lost my sense of humor after yesterday's frustrations. Thanks for that!
  17. Pretty sure that Johnny Foxborough from down the road at Foxborough High, wouldn't have done that. Sounds like Hoodie has his work cut out for him in film session review with GOAT tomorrow! https://www.si.com/mmqb/2017/02/21/nfl-tom-brady-new-england-patriots-johnny-foxborough-mark-clagg-foxborough-warriors
  18. ^^^^^Great post OP, and this imho, is the best part of your post. This is where the coaching staff comes into play this week, to help the guys effectively process the good and the bad from this week, and come out Sunday to play with as much intensity as they brought yesterday, and clean up the bad in the process. I hope our staff is up to the challenge.
  19. ^^^^This is my concern today as well. Games like yesterday have a way of either energizing a team to be even better, or cause a letdown stumble--and we can't let the positive momentum from the 1st 3 games plus the spectacular D play yesterday go for naught against a very inconsistent/beatable Titans squad.
  20. Don't let bothersome facts like these ^^^^^^ rain on the Debbie Downer Monday greatest hot take hits parade by any means however!
  21. You're entitled to your opinion. You would be wrong, but that's just my opinion of course too.
  22. Shocking news, simply shocking...he seemed like such an easygoing nice young man
  23. Rating of 125 in the 4th Q. Anointed as Mr. Clutch going into the game yesterday, and we were not able to see what he could’ve done to pull this game out thanks to Greggo tactics? No, not losing any faith over here. Just part of the learning process that comes with going up against the greatest defensive mind our league has ever seen, right? Let’s check back in on this thread to see how it’s aging come say, Week 16?
