TSW Mock Draft 2.0 - Complete!
No_Matter_What replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Why would you be stunned? Even if GMs were so high on him as you to he can easily fall to 7. I'd say 2 QBs and Young are lock, with 3rd QB being very likely. That leaves only 2 guys to be taken sooner than Okudah. It is very likely that at least one team decides to take franchise OT rather than CB. Then throw in some random pick like Ferrell last year and Okudah goes 7. Lattimore who you mention went 11, after John Ross (!). -
PFF says Bills have top 5 roster?
No_Matter_What replied to Clemfield2622's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not true imo. It will be hard to play better and finish 9-7 or worse. Schedule will be harder but not that much. If Bills play better than in 2019 they will beat teams similar to those who beat them in 2019. Oh and we lost one game we'd win with starters in 2019. -

I hate you. -
I have no idea, I was just originally arguing your death rate numbers. I think total isolation of people over 60 is one of the keys right now. In my country they are not allowed to leave their homes other than for necessary shopping. As of today, all shops are open from 9am to 12noon only for seniors. But I do think that it is worse that you think even under 60. There are more and more stories spreading how badly are people dealing with virus even when they are 35 or so. I guess we will see.

There is a huge difference between Olympics and NFL imo. Olympics had to be postponed since they need qualifications and trainings of athletes which cannot happen now and will not happen couple of next months. You also need athletes from all over the world to gather and participate. Same goes for fans. NFL is entirely different. It is US thing only, so in only depends on how US handles the virus. I have no idea how it works in reality, but I guess you can have almost normal season when some training camps are postponed and situation gets better in June or even July. You can also adopt some measures to prevent risks - play without fans, or limit fans to 1/3 of stadium capacity or something like that. I am quite sceptical about the virus itself, but NFL starts in September and there should be enough time for things to get better until then.

I wouldn't sign him but he has special place in my heart for his Pitch Perfect cameo. -
Sean Payton has contracted COVID19

The sooner you guys realize that it is a real possibility the better. Very sad but true imo. Nobody knows what will happen at this stage but I'd say its coinflip at best. God I hope I am wrong. -
Didn't read whole thread and don't want to start new one because of this, but I have a question related to this topic. On paper, is our Dline now better or worse than it was? To sum it up: Pros: We added Addison, Butler and Jefferson, Harrison Philips should be back, Oliver has gained experience. Cons: We lost Phillips and Lawson, Hughes will be one year older. Star and Murphy remain Star and Murphy. What do you guys think? If the Dline is better, in what? Pass rush or run stopping?

This is really a huge change from NFL perspective, really looking forward to it. Now lets hope there will be 2020 season. -
Jordan Phillips signs with Arizona

Are the numbers official or you guys are just guessing 30/3? -
Breaking news!!! Brady will not return to New England
No_Matter_What replied to MAJBobby's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It will be really funny if he somehow signs with Dolphins. -
So who can we expect next in FA?
No_Matter_What replied to BillsMafi$'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I have no idea who but we are definitely not done. We have money to spend and by trading for Diggs they confirmed thet window is now. I'd be shocked if they didn't manage to get some veteran Dline help. -
Great job Corta. Always liked these threads. This year even more, since I plan trip to US from Europe for Bills game for the first time. Most likely we are going late October so either W7 or W8. My wife refuses to risk Buffalo weather late October so we prefer away games - Arizona, Las Vegas of San Fran. If it falls as you currently predict I need to buy my wife some new warm clothes and we are going to Seahawks game in W7 no matter what Anyway, one thing from OP confuses me. Is there any reason to believe that The Bonnie ehm Brady Situation is not solved by March 20th? I guess his decision will affect many other QBs so my understanding is that he will sign somewhere immediately once FA opens. Teams need to solve QB situation as top priority so they won't be able to wait long for his decision. Do you guys think anything else?

Redskins and Tua at pick 2 - Smokescreen or real?
No_Matter_What replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This seems totally realistic to me. If they think Tua could be much better than Haskins they have to take him, no matter how good Young is. It is actually the same situation as Cards / Murray / Rosen / Bosa (the difference could be that they actually keep Haskins to compete). -
Gunner I don't get the Jets trade. You have Wills, Becton and Thomas taken within 4 spots, which I assume means that you have very similar grades on them. If Jets stay on 11, the way your mock evolves it seems very likely that they still get one of them (Panthers don't take OT, Jags take Brown). Do you really think it makes sense for them to give up 2nd and 3rd round just to get their choice within three similar players (in terms of quality, I don't watch college so I only rely on your mock)? And then taking guy who might even end up as RT only? And even if they somehow missed on all four at 11, they still may happily take Jeudy and get two olinemen in next two rounds.

Daniel Jeremiah 2020 mock draft 1.0
No_Matter_What replied to DJB's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I really love how he assumes that Gettleman does something what nobody expects I think he may be onto something with WRs taken lower than generally expected and more QBs taken in first round than expected. Interesting scenario for us with Higgins and Shenault still the board. -
My Off-Season Primer: Position Group - DE

Good read as always. As for Armstead, since he's been mentioned quite often - I know a guy who is 49ers fan and he said that this year Armstead > Buckner, so he is pretty sure they won't let him go. He says they are probably not able to keep them both, so they might sign and trade Buckner. He said its not just his opinion but that it is common opinion on their forums. I have no idea if it makes sense just selling as I bought it. -
Cmon man. You started your OP by saying that there is always a guy "you just cannot believe he was there when the Bills pick". So for me, when we are picking 22, in order to qualify for this, it has to be somebody who is constantly mocked in top 10. So in my view, we are talking about guys like Jeudy, Lamb, Thomas or Epenesa (considering out needs only). Right now Swift is 14 at CBS, 18 at Walterfootball, 31 at Sportingnews, PFF doesn't have him in the first round at all, Tankathon has him 39 (I picked random mocks I found first, feel free to add more). So him being there at 22 is no surprise at all, let alone some shocker.
