  1. I was talking about the former. To each their own. If that is how you feel, you'll get no challenge from me. It just strikes me as odd. Maybe its because I lived in Syracuse for 8 years and saw tons of indoor games. The difference between indoor v. outdoor didn't even occur to me, with the exception that indoor I didn't have to worry about temperature. That said, I have zero doubt that an indoor stadium will ensure year round sell outs to Bills fans. At the end of the day, the die hards (the type of people who post on message boards or buy season) are gonna go to the game, dome or no dome, its the people on the fence they need to sell tickets to. People on the fence don't want to sit in the cold. I think this means they could also consequently raise ticket prices.
  2. Wait. This is actually a really good point...
  3. I just can't wrap my head around how you don't go white facemasks when Red on Red. That would probably be my favorite color scheme in the NFL.
  4. Sorry- I am doing something else and am half distracted. In any event, to each there own I guess. My take is that the type of fans that sit in the cold for a game are probably going to go regardless. Its the people on the fence they need to capture. I still think its safe to say you get more net fans with a dome.
  5. I don't mean to challenge you, but have you actually gone to a domed football game?
  6. Wild. I can't even wrap my head around that. I'm not saying your wrong, but to me its just not meaningfully different. I say that as someone who lived in Syracuse for 8 years and went to a ton of SU football games. I just don't think the game time experience was any different, excluding the tailgating obviously. Not excluding the losing, unfortunately.
  7. Really? You'd be less likely to go to a domed game?
  8. I think this is it. Their defense looks good because they are hardly on the field- that offense just drains clock. It is so demoralizing, which is part of the reason they look so dominant (that and the ridiculous amount of points they score). You have to get ahead of them. This is a good game to open the game receiving the kick off. I don't think we can come from behind. If we are behind, the game is over.
  9. Not to mention that a rebuild is sort of like a draft pick--its a bit of a crapshoot. If your QB doesn't pan out, or you miss no some draft picks, you can very easily fail and not get a second bite at the apple.
  10. I don't really know what that last bit means, but I think you are right. Everyone loves the idea of these cold weather games, but if we play in a dome I 100% think every game will be sold out to Bills fans, even if ticket prices went up.
  11. We have a really good defensive coaching staff. There is reason to believe they could be the ones. But if they aren't, it really isn't the end of the world. None of this is going to change the fact that if we lose next week this board is going to explode with anger and chants of "same old bills"
  12. The great offenses are always unstoppable. Until they aren't. Its the NFL, someone will figure it out (hopefully it will be McDermott, but I'm not unrealistic either).
  13. I think they will go Edge. There is no more overrated high price player than the WR1.
  14. It was always a dumb question to ask that early in a QBs career.
  15. Its almost like you shouldn't make sweeping declarations about people's careers based on their first 6 games in the league. Wild stuff.
  16. First, you just conveniently skip over how having a franchise QB impacts these decisions. That is fantastic work on your part. More importantly, you write like this front office didn't walk into the situation with clear intentions and vision, and then effectively execute that vision. They are looking at two playoff appearances in their first three years. They have their franchise QB, and a young core of players that they can ride for the next ten years. It makes sense under those circumstances to have money available to afford some flexibility.
  17. @SoTier’s posts are a breathtaking mix of hindsight, revisionism, and fiction. In a lot of ways it’s actually beautiful.
  18. That comeback was the equivalent of "Noooo you're stupid"
  19. Props to @SoTier for having the balls to keep coming on this board. I mean, he is almost universally considered a joke, and has been absolutely clowned off this board several times. I have heard of dying on your hill, but he takes it to a whole nothing level. He dies on a mountain of irrational gibberish that to the average observer would look more like a puddle of nonsensical mud.
  20. This is all terribly concerning, and I will have no part of this board concerning the implications of your concern.
  21. Your lack of concern is deeply concerning.
  22. I'd love to have the Cowboys after what would inevitably be an emotional win
